Since the velociraptor’s are such clever girls, maybe name them after women in STEM! E.g: Mae after Mae Jemison (astronaut and doctor), Hedy after Hedy Lamarr (actress and inventor), Ada after Ada Lovelace (mathematician) etc.

Marie Curie and Dorothy Vaughn are also intelligent ladies from history!! Curie won TWO Nobel Prizes, Physics was her first and Chemistry her second(also the first woman to win a Nobel prize), and dorothy Vaughn was an incredible mathematician for NASA

The Velociraptor as depicted in Jurassic Park is actually more like a Utahraptor. iirc, the movie Velociraptor actually is based on Utahraptor, but they used the name velociraptor (which is a relative, and similar in body shape) because it sounded cooler. So the movie dinos do exist, just with a different name (and feathers).

Kinda random but this comment reminded me, haha, but if you've never read the novel Raptor Red, I highly recommend it! It's about a female utahraptor named Raptor Red. iirc, the foreword mentions something about the JP raptors being more akin to utahraptors (though I haven't read it in over a decade)

Utahraptor was found while filming, so no, the movie Velociraptor was not based on Utahraptor, that’s a misconception. It’s actually Deinonychus.

@@PawsBuild KZread has this funny thing of pushing excessive back-to-back ads for random accounts, I believe it's testing waters before pushing for the masses. Normally they're fine but lately the ads I receive aren't properly able to be skipped. (Skipping just plays the next ad in the list.) I'm guessing it's just an unfortunate luck of the draw in my account's case.

I've just started this challenge, and oh my goodness it's hell to have velociraptors. I decided it was a *great* idea to buy six velociraptors and make them a huge habitat. It wasn't. Honestly, I spent so much money, and there was so many escapes, I had to started over! I love this series and am excited to see more! :D

So excited for more of this series!

The parasaurs.... are Moist(TM) Of all the uses of the word Moist, that moment made me laugh a stupid amount. 🤣

I started playing the game because of this series, and since it's pretty intuitive I jumped directly into campaign-flavoured sandboxes. Me: I'm doing pretty well with intelligent carnivores, so the people on reddit must be way overselling velociraptors. I'm sure I can handle a starting pack of five! Reader, she could not. Why do these things have demons in them??

There were 9 but the “clever girl” velociraptor killed and ate 6 of the raptors leaving only 3. I think he’s running off of the number that were in the park at the start of the og movie.

@@RedWaterDragon4390 Muldoon says “there were 8 originally, but when we brought her in she killed all but 2” I took that as 8 original and then “clever girl” was brought in making 9. But it could totally be 8 including her.

I think the Velociraptors should be named after the mean girls: Karen, Regina George and Gretchen (don’t know why, I think that it’d be funny)

This is really my favorite series on youtube, it really helps me unwind!

There is still at least 1 more Dino that you need. The Poster child to the entire series, you need a T-Rex. I don't know where you can fit the pen, maybe behind your Dilo's, just make sure you have some restrooms across from the enclosure so that you can have Malcolm hide in them XD

low key losing my mind at you not saving the skin changes for the velociraptors when you’ve been so diligent about getting the 93 variants 😭 never mind you finally noticed moments after i commented hahahaha

I need more of this. Also fun fact Micheal Crition pretty much switched the name of Deinonychus to Velocraptor.

I would also change the distance/space between the velocirator and the herbivore space.....could be to close. so the one feel unsafe and the other want to attack them

My question is where will the t-rex be

Okay but, 1. The cute little fella in the grass at 0:43 And 2. Your transition between the intro and the episode is so smooth. Like the way you do your audio mixing(?) In the episodes is very nicely, I don't even know how to describe it lol. Like, for some videos on other channels, you can usually tell if the audio is recorded after abd edited in, or it's during the filming. I can't seem to tell with yours -- not that it's a bad thing, it's just something I've noticed and I find fascinating on your videos.

Also you might’ve forgotten about this but because of how big your park is getting you should consider adding transportation for your guests, I also remember you saying you would add it in the future when your park got bigger in episode 1 or 2

Just to let you know dinosaurs will not escape if there needs are met so u could Even but a level 1 fence and they wouldn’t escape so make sure the dilos needs are fully met you could add some compys to increase its comfort with animals they get along with

Idea for Hotel Name: Veloci Villa And maybe you could name the raptors synonyms for clever, like Sly, Bright and Gifted!

Because this is a Jurassic park build, I very much hope that you add the T. rex and spinosaurus to your park as those two dinosaurs are popular in that community, and you also can make the spino look like the one in the movie I believe

Name Idea for the Hotel at the Herbivore Habitat: "The Herbie Hut"

In one of my sandbox files, I made the mistake of starting off with velociraptors. Named them after Star Wars characters. Thus Luke and Leia in particular kept escaping all the time.

I know this was a while ago, but if you change the elevation, it might prevent the predators from seeing the path

Fun Fact: The velociraptors in Jurassic Park are large because their design is based off of velociraptor’s cousin, deinonychus!

After you finish this, do the same thing but for jurrasic world lol

You can use the send and summon functions to move the Dinos around

Katherine, Dorothy and Mary after the space race NASA scientists popularised by Hidden Figures. Because…. They’re raptors and their thing is hiding in the long grass… and they’re clever girls 😂

Hey Paws, I had a quick question. I don't know if this is just me being dumb or what, but how do you meet the dino's forest and food needs without it becoming like a unkept enclosure, your enclosures have so much open space to view them. Btw, loved watching this series from beginning to end!!

You should have 1 intelligent raptor to represent 'clever girl' from the 1st movie

Where will the trex be ? I don't really see a place for an appropriately sized cage for it😢

Perhaps once your done with the Jurassic Park dinos you could make a section of your ethical dinosaur zoo for the Jurassic World dinos

They did! I rewatched the movie and they originally made eight but clever girl killed all but two

You should think about adding different kinds of food for the carnivores. Not just the hunting ones. So having both the live feeders and meat feeders would spoil them for choice

i kinda wish you kept just one of the raptors intelligent just to have the clever girl like in the movie

Is it ethical to have a large batch and only allow a few to survive? I'd assume in order to learn the traits one would have to allow them to hatch... Would rejecting parts of the batch ethical?

You could always name the girls after the 3 furies/erinyes; Megaera, Alecto, and Tisiphone

this is a awesome series also for names for dinosaurs and this can be used for all of them i call them after there species like for the velociraptors i would call it vel

The names of the Raptors in the movie are Randy, Kim, and “The Big One.” I think you should name them Plato, Aristotle, or Socrates etc. after famous Greek Philosophers since they’re the intelligent dinos.

You should add rocks to all the habitats it will help it feel more natural for the dinosaurs, and there for more ethical

You should be able to use the JP decorative wall pieces to block the view to the guests for the Dilos and other intelligent species.

Individually placed rocks and trees do count towards rock and forest with dinosaur comfort, so they should count for blocking visibility, but I really think the solid walls in the decoration tab will stop them from “seeing” out.
