The reason why the gang didn’t question Alice’s story was cuz they must’ve assumed she was NOT a little girl when The Creeper was arrested, the reason why she looked that way in the flashback was just for us the audience, telling us this was wrong

Marcie is the only love interest Velma's had where it felt fleshed out--even though Velma didn't always treat her well (though not as manipulative with her as Shaggy). I always wished Velma's relationships with Beau and Omar from the 90s and 2000s were more fleshed out. I was also curious about that guy who liked her in the 2002 film; he was better than Patrick, at least. In terms of her sexuality, I always saw her as hetero, but given how each incarnation is a different continuity (for better or worse), I've got no problem with Velma being portrayed with different identities, since only Fred and Daphne seem to be defined.

I think that a pretty big part of the fandom says that Fred is somewhere on the spectrum in this show, due to how clueless he his to Daphnee and just his trap addiction in general. But anyways, spectrum or not, this is probably my favorite rendition of him haha

@@seesawseesaw i know they were trying many things not seen casually in media at the time, like being on the spectrum back then wasnt as represented as now, they also "SPOILER" wanted Velma to be gay with HDW for example but this one was a net no from the network apparently. But anyways thanks for confirming what i said from your view since i am not myself on the spectrum 🙃

Yes, Velma and Shaggy suck at hiding their relationship, but remember: they and their friends are teenagers, and teenagers are more self-absorbed and oblivious to the world around them than a sponge.

I love that Alice kinda looks like Gwen Stacy, she even has kind of the same outfit like her. Also the big reveal at the end is crazy.

The character in the horror movies that Shaggy and Scooby were watching is Vincent Van Ghoul. Long-time Scooby Doo fans might remember him from The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. He is based on, and originally voiced by, Vincent Price. A famous horror movie actor. .

I have seen the 13 Ghost of Scooby-Doo plus movie. Velma doesn't believe that Daphne had seen actually ghost. I guess the Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost plus Samurai Sword never happened.

@@jamesstutz6907 technically in the samurai one we only saw him as a ghost for like a couple of seconds before he faded and most of that was somebody in a costume And one zombie Island got a sequel that nobody needed and it was sort of changed

The other day we got starfire getting jealous and now its Daphne turn and the fact that starfire and Alice may have the same va make it even more interesting

If i'm not mistaking, Mitch watson, the head writer on scooby doo mystery incorporated says that in this version of the show, fred is “slightly on the spectrum” and “a little bit aspergers-y” during the 12th episode of a podcast called "unmasked history of scooby-doo"

My favorite episodes are coming up get ready for a ride this series is similar to gravity falls but it does what gravity falls does better

Now we truly get to the ugly albatross around this Velma's neck. She is controlling and possessive. Though unlike the Velma show, I get the impression this is a deliberate flaw

Velma's treatment of her friends, particularly the rubber band incident with Shaggy, made me hate this version of her.
