Why is the person recording 3 ft away?

I just figured out how to connect mine to Alexa! Did you purchase the gateway?

@@tedharvick9010 mine came on yesterday that's the only way. Since you have to connect the lock to the gateway. Now since I connect to Alexa I can unlock from anywhere. I can send you the link to the one I purchased!

Not always the case. Google is not compatible with EVERYTHING that's smart related yet. @@tedharvick9010

idk what this guy is doing, I just installed mine, you just need to tap it.
Investing in a microphone would certainly help.
