Angela Jones Because people in the metal community can understand screams. Once you listen to something enough you learn to understand. It’s not complicated. Also, screaming properly is a lot harder than anything you’re able to do.

I love that there is only one vocalist. I have seen bands where they have one doing cleans and one doing gutterals. This just shows the talent of this voclaist to have such a wide range and to be able to hit the notes perfectly.

God damn, Sam has to be one of the best Metalcore drummers in the scene! Dude has so much power behind that kit!

Saw them live at swanfest last year. They had the main stage with a huge audio booth center of the crowd. They had a massive ring running around the entire center stage area during this song. Easily 2000+ people running around. Soooo much fun

The lyrics suggest to me it may be an AoT reference too if I'm honest. "We survive in wretched times" and "I shall prepare myself to face a monster only I may conquer" sound like they kinda fit with the real world and the AoT world so it's very hard to say

I have no idea why people think this sounds like periphery either. People are just trying to shit on periphery and whine about Spencers voice

Darin Black I swear, if a Periphery member is even slightly involved with any part of a song, everyone goes batshit calling the song/band a rip-off of Periphery. I bet people only say that because they know Spencer produced the vocals

The instrumentals really don't sound a lot like Periphery at all, Periphery is way more technical. This isn't bad at all, in fact it's pretty good but I definitely prefer Periphery.

Listen to the clears and then listen to Spencer Sotello. Definitely some similarities.

Spencer was a part of the writing process. But no, this does not sound like periphery.

I love the positive reviews with a bit of change in sound, most people hate. After I heard this song the day it came out, I knew I had to see them Live. Lucas is spot on LIVE. I really cant wait for Lucas to drop a new album for us. I was a fan before, but Lucas made this a top band for sure for me. His voice is perfect

Now this chorus is stuck on my head for a days already

How did I forget about this absolute anthem!!
