Cool! Currently I only got the simpliest kind of controls - two rods for pedals and a common handle for them. Haven't even used them so far, despite owning the device for over a year. But now my health is failing and I start to suspect, I might need something more serious, like this device in the video.

This hand control brand is Veigle. In the states the person who does the training can’t sell the hand controls. I would search the brand and ask if they have a mobility dealer near you. And hello from Texas USA

That looks like a pain, BUT I LOVE THOSE FINGERS and TOES, I WONDER IF YOU CAN PANIC STOP OR TURN OR ACELERATE UNDER STRESS, BUT I TRUST YOUR JUDGMENT!!

thats pretty cool whacha got for standard shift vehicles? i daily my Boxster standard shift with controls i built myself.... im an amputee.... below knee .... mid 50s male in our drivers license study material no mention was made over using hand controls nor anything on test regarding them..... my work history is racecar fabrication and hydraulics so usin a ATV throttle assembly for gas pedal and a half a old cane for a brake rod

@@matlandproject thank you sir... i looked around online for ideas and i was disappointed in the lack of info on standard shift equipment .... bein a old redneck hillbilly my next move was a no brainer....off to the shop/shed/barn/garage to repurpose some more of my hoarding addiction collection of parts n bits.... lol i have fabricated hand throttles for several VW railbuggies i have and i have fabricated rear brake hand controls for my YFZ450 and RZ350 quad and vintage racebike .... my next on my "bucketlist"? i wanna be a pilot... private .... in helicopters....

For a device like this, if you accelerate till you reach desired speed, can you let go of the shifter and it will allow you to coast at said speed, or do you have to hold it at all times to maintain desired speed? Hopefully this makes sense.

It works just like the accelerator petal. You take your foot off the vehicle will then cost. If you vehicle has cruse control it should still work

Can you put this hand control on the left side I like the fact that you can lock the break in place to rest your hand but I’d would need it on the left side because I drive with my right hand can you do the same exact set up on the left side where you have the feature they cannot break in place?

Yes they do make a left side hand controls with a locking brake. Typical example is at a long stoplight.

You can find more information about the Veigel Right Hand Controls on the Veigel website. Not sure where you are located, but in the States it is required to have training and have a certified company install the hand controls

Unfortunately we don’t have the cost information on the equipment. Our company does the training and DPS testing prior to getting it installed in your vehicle. You need to contact a certified mobility dealer in your area like Mobility Works or United Access. Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes there are however your auto insurance company may not cover you if you get into an accident. So our company only recommends you use an certified installer

Sorry I don’t speak Spanish but if you are looking for where to buy this. In the States you need to go to a dealer to have them installed. Cost $1,800-$2,500

Can this be installed on cars with knees airbag? Mine is right hand drives. Is this easy to install?

Yes it can be intended in a cars with airbags. The initial instructions needs to be done by a certified installer after that the installation is quite easy as you saw in the video. Let me know if you have additional questions.

@@matlandproject Thank you Sir! I'm unsure of which vehicle I will chose. I'm looking for something small or mid size suv. Oh yes I'm right handed. I do wander what in heavens name would make a very used (50k or more in used mileage) run $70k. It seems I will always need someone with me to store my power chair upon a ramp until I at least learn to use one prosthetic leg w/ a crutch. Then if I could learn 1 prosthetic then I can learn with the other as well. I've had many health conditions but as I was being fitted with the liner for the prosthetic the pain was so excruciatingly painful that I had to stop to find out why. It's Lumbar Sacral Radiculopathy... I need the stimulator implant to move on. But this is my next dream to coming true is to drive to a store or Dr's office by myself. Not to have to put any of my children out. To lose points or take time off of work.

I like how your hand controls get right to the point. What do you charge for your hand controls? Does India have regulations on who can install or make hand controls? I like learning how different countries regulate driving and modifications to cars. The average cost of the different options in The USA is approximately $1200.
