Kevin, you have chosen wisely. The paper that’s your favorite is beautiful and will stand the rest of time as far as versatility. It will compliment any change in decor you may want in the future. I started using the Instapot for soups also. The favor is identical to the long simmering soup but I do miss the aroma of a soup simmering in the stove. Thank you as always.

I love the third sample - the diamonds and bees on the green background. In the bedroom, it is nice to have a peaceful pattern. Let us see your other samples when they arrive. To visit your home is always such a hearwarming experience. Thank you Kevin for letting us in.❤🇨🇦

Pineapple wallpaper is my vote. Then you could use the beautiful blue in the design for accent pieces or your bedding. The lunch outside seems so relaxing and a wonderful change of scenery after winter.

For a bedroom wallpaper I would go with something very calming and neutral and not too dark. I might pick the blue and pink and red for a dining room.

What a great dish for my meatless Monday menu

Hi Kevin, I absolutely love your videos. You gave such a kind and calming way about you. The bird in your music room wallpaper, I believe, is called a Woo bird. I have an antique chinoiserie mirror with a bird similar to that on it, and that's what the description calls it.

I love dragonfly wallpaper. Like the Grimshaw paintings of the late 1800's. I looked high and low for dragon fly wallpaper for my bathroom 5 years ago. And only a British company had one. Today, there is a better selection for dragon fly wallpaper. I found one in green you might like for your bedroom, and you could keep all the same color schemes you have like the bedspread, etc: Art Nouveau Dragonflies | Med Cool Green Wallpaper bysouthwind But they have different colors.

My favorite is the “ornament and stripe”. It’s simple and unassuming yet a timeless classic. The pineapple pattern is nice, but I just don’t feel the pinkish rose color of the pineapple, especially for a male bedroom.

I think you should do the celery colored paper from the dining room in your bedroom . It’s soothing and restful not too busy. All the papers you showed are vibrant and busy.

The pineapple wallpaper would be pretty in a dining room. A bedroom is soothing with a light background and a gentle, calm, delicate pattern. But that room, with those bright windows, would come alive with a fresh coat of pistachio green paint and artic white trim and finished off with several gold framed floral paintings. But then, the bed would need to be white too which might be a bridge too far in a remodel. Lovely room, so much could be done with it but different drapes could transform it as it is now!

That stock looks good, Kevin! I always save the tops and tails from my onions, carrots, celery, squash and such, in a bag in the freezer, and use this to make vegetable stock. I'm on a very tight budget, and try not to waste anything! I'm looking forward to seeing more wallpaper samples, and can't wait to see your completed bedroom makeover! That lentil loaf looks wonderful, too! I'm going to have to try it!

Decades ago, I considered wall paper for the master bedroom and then I decided against it. Moving paintings and the mirrors hanging on the wall above the dresser would produce holes and devalue the wall paper. Wall paper is a great option for some people. I love an ecru paint color on the walls and the ceiling, since it is such a soothing relaxing color. Ecru is a neutral color that is very easy for decorating a home. I tried white paint on the walls decades ago it was too stark for my taste. I have a pressure cooker and I use it for cooking meats only, since this method infuses the seasonings into the meat and cooking is so much faster. I enjoyed your video. Have a great day!

Hi Kevin, I used to do the mason jar thing too but now - after several days in the crock pot I transfer the broth to a stock pot and cook it down A LOT. After it cools I put it in small square ice cube trays made of silcone and freeze these. I store all the cubes in a gallon baggie and take out what I need. It's pretty concentrated so I use one cube and anywhere from 2 cups to 6 cups of water, depending on what I am using it for. I always cook rice in broth for the added benefits as opposed to water.

Both pineapple papers are beautiful, I prefer the lighter warmer background but I think the blue version is nice and relaxing color for a bedroom 😊

My mother-in-law always jarred her soups in 1/2 gallon blue jars and froze them. She also filled blue jars with berries for the freezer. Back in her day she had no freezer containers to purchase at the shops. But she had blue glass jars. Now she canned tons and tons of things over her lifetime also.

It’s probably too late for my comment about the wallpaper choice, but here goes: I think colors in a bedroom should be calming. I love the pineapple wallpaper, but I don’t find it to be restful. I was drawn to the bee wallpaper, but either that or the 1st one would be my preference for a calm oasis from daily life. No matter what you choose, it will be lovely!

I'd love to see some more papers. I think that a bedroom requires a peaceful look, similar to what you have in your foyer. It's so airy and lovely. The bolder papers work better in another room. Just my humble opinion.

As always, I love how you use everything! 👍🏻 And you have washed everything, as you do (you hardly see chefs doing that on tv, that’s a health issue, I think). But especially since using the outer of the veggies it’s best to use organic (you don’t want to eat all the chemicals concentrated all together in a lovely dish😳, that’s one of the things why we peel them). I love you getting to know us to use organic. It’s the way to go forward 👍🏻🙂

I love the paper in the music room! I agree you need wallpaper in the bedroom but the pineapple paper will wake up the dead. Perhaps a little more subdued to create interest, yet a peaceful atmosphere that we all need to calm down our minds as we prepare to sleep. Hope you will find just the right one. Love!
