Dear Anil ji Favorable temp for healing is 25-28 degree C and humidity should be more than 75-80 %. Light intensity should be 4000 Lux inside healing tunnel, Please refer Chapter 2 - healing and Hardening is related with your query ,

Dear Manish ji we appreciate your idea and efforts. Method of grafting will be same, Days may vary but can take trial of the same. As per our experience, agronomy practices for Potato and Tomato is different so need to take more care for the grafted plants in field.

Please refer to Chapter 1 "Introduction Vegetable Grafting Online Course - Program Introduction" Time interval 15:20 to 15:35 - Reason: Growth rate of Cucurbits is very fast. After grafting, In healing chamber light levels are too low so hypocotyle length increases and plants becomes lanky. Root pruning diverts energy of plants into root formation, this helps in avoiding lankyness in plants. Plants without pruning - Hypocotyle becomes too long inside healing chamber.

Dear Mr. Ramjith, VNR Winterfit is not pumpkin. Its a Fig Leaf Gourd - Cucurbita ficifolia a species of squash grown for its edible seed, fruit and greens. Its other common english names are malabar gourd, black seed squash and cidra. The objective of using VNR Winterfit is, its tolerant for cold temperature so we can grow cucumber crop is low temperature as well.

Dear Rahul Kumar ji In Grafting process, attach two different plant i.e. RS & Scion. only the angle of 45 degree can provide maximum area of attachment for grafting joint. But if we talk about practical, it is not possible to make cut of 45 degree every time. But we have to try to make cut slant for proper attachment of RS and Scion.

Dear Sir Being soft, it will be difficult to use tape to join the Rootstock and Scion, which will reduce the speed of workers and reduce grafting success. It is practically easy to place silicon clip to join the Rootstock and Scion. On other hand, you can try the tape for doing grafting. मुलायम होने के नाते रूटस्टॉक व scion को जोड़ने के लिए टेप का उपयोग करना मुश्किल होगा, जिससे वर्कर्स की स्पीड भी कम होगी व ग्राफ्टिंग सक्सेस कम होगा क्लिप की मदद से रूटस्टॉक व scion को जोड़ना आसान है

Thank you for showing interest in grafted cucumber plants. Till now grafting in cucumber is being done for getting resistance against soil borne diseases. Crop life is almost same of grafted cucumber as well as of Non grafted cucumber.
