If you love football and you should want this to succeed, because between the XFL and the USFL we will have spring/summer football from February to July which means when it's all over we'll be at NFL Training camp, that's technically football all year

I'm excited to see what the XFL can do. I still think the league would never have stopped if it hadn't been for covid. I also forgot that the "inside the ref review booth" part of the broadcast is one of the best things the XFL does! Such a good idea.

Yes. Those 2020 games were fast and exciting for the product they put on the field. I was set to keep watching the rest of the seasons. Just starting to get to know some of the players. They didn't have the plodding along feeling that the nfl does sometimes, with all the commercial breaks, and such. I also like the 1, 2, or 3 point-after-touchdown option

Meh, their ratings weren't that good. Think of movies. If their opening weekends aren't great, those movies are failures. This league will be gone in 3yrs or less. Maybe someone will be dumb enough to think a 4th time's a charm in 2035 though?

That first instant replay catch honestly depending on the view you went with could have correctly been called incomplete or complete. What I love is that the replay is fully transparent and you hear the real explanation as to why the call is being reversed by Dean Blandino. Not like the cryptic explanations given by NFL officiating many times.

I was there! One of the most exciting sporting events I’ve ever been to, barring stars games (you can’t beat hockey lol.) it also helps that I had really good seats for this game though.

I'm honestly so glad the XFL is back. I love my Carolina Panthers, but man, it's nice to have football to watch in the offseason. Here's to hoping a spring league finally takes hold for longer than one season.

Well, the USFL has already done that twice now. First iteration lasted 3 years. Second iteration is going into its second year.

I _LOVED_ the feed from the officiating room. Really going to keep penalties transparent and corruption much less likely.

It's gonna be the lack of penalties and injuries from them. Also not pulling players for injuries. The scrutiny is even worse than the NFL and it's gon a blow up quick. Player straight up got thrown into the goal post, hit the back of his spine, held his head, struggled to get up, and went back for the next play. All with the ref watching and replays galore. The uncalled helmet targeting all weekend is gonna make it even worse.

This was a fun game. Can't wait to see how the teams evolve over the season!!!

Honestly the dirty plays in every game made 70% of these players look like there's good reason they don't deserve to be in the NFL. I really can't imagine being a GM and seeing anything of value in the way these games were played.

You can see them review the challenges. That’s major love 👏🏼👏🏼💙

Love this for all the players who had doors close on them by NFL. People don't understand how players dedicate their life to football and NFL used to be only viable option. Thanks XFL!!!!

This was a terrific game. Great to have the XFL back!

For the haters hating on the crowd let me say this: 1.This is a pretty big stadium this is a decent crowd for XFL matters probably about 10,000-15,000 2.San Antonio & DC are pretty much sold out 3.St.Louis will 100% be sold out I think the XFL could've done a better job on the presentation in finding a smaller stadium but otherwise, it just looks like that cause of how the big the stadium is!

You're right. I bought tickets for a Sea Dragons vs Brahamas game in Seattle and the available seating for the home side was pretty much all booked.

XFL is back! Those final 4 minutes were awesome to watch!

That Renegades defense really came to life in the second half! Not sure how much it was on Perez, but both teams definitely have some work to do on offense. Really hoping these games just get better as their season goes on.

That’s actually very easy. They can do it with an “cheap” camera and a gimbal. An iPhone and gimbal can essentially get the same results.

I’ve never followed this league during past iterations, but there’s a lot of things here I like. Most notably for me the announcers. Normally announcers don’t talk about a team’s “ineptitude” in such terms. I love it

The kickoff rule is the Lord's work. You can make football fun to watch without shaving years off of players lives.

It took 22 years, but they finally got the XFL right, thanks Rock for purchasing it from Vince, I can see how much you care for it by showing up, I remember you did that in 2001 but that XFL was more about entertainment than football at that time.

The replay is the best part with the live review and feed back to the ref. XFL respect there fans and has really good referring

The transparency of reviewing the challenge play is a very good concept. This is a different XFL from back in the WWF days lmao.

Imagine if the nfl had this type of review transparency lol Ive missed the XFL

The punt return changes are brilliant. Still a very exciting play with many opportunities but does take out the high speed collisions.

The XFL is very interesting so far. This league gives the opportunity for those to chase their dreams to one day play in the NFL. I like the rule concept! I like seeing players & coaches get interviewed after big moments in the game as well.

Entertaining football year round? Sign me up! I loved the XFL when they came back in 2020 and was extremely bummed covid ruined what seemed to be a succeeding formula. Figured it was the worst luck possible. The Rock deserves appreciation for taking a risk and buying the league and trying again. Cause I see the real potential in this for all sides especially the NFL. But also players who didn't get opportunities or fought injuries in college or those who simply haven't developed quite enough before hitting thr NFL getting second chances! So many have the talent and ability but lack the knowledge and experience or understanding of the mental aspect of football. This league offers them a chance to work on that and get a spotlight for teams to look at and keep a eye on.

A master class on correct calls. I absolutely LOVE it.

That's usually how it is cause with defense you play in rhythm a lot quicker cause you don't have to worry about routes, timing, blocking assignments, etc. Offenses always take longer to play together well than defenses.

There’s so many talented football players in America. The average NFL career only lasts 3-4 years so its great to see college athletes and former NFL players have another outlet to compete at a high level.

The games will get better as the coaches start to figure out what their players can do and who's who. As well as what their opponents strengths & weaknesses are . I'd say by the second half of the season.

Seems decent . Just hoping it's not just 3 hours of commercials with 11 minutes of actually ball play sprinkled in like the NFL.

Please keep this review system! So engaging as a viewer hearing the replays discussed live by the people that actually make the decision.
