These should be buses or a train. Makes zero sense why they are individual cars. Tesla can make a bus or train. The whole loop is massively underused.

That's a great idea, I definitely think it would save on time management as well! Also, there were lots of bigger groups using the the loop together and had to ride separately or squeeze three adults into the backseat and such.

@@FunSizer the individual Teslas make no sense. They should at least advertise a schedule. Convince your Thunder from down under fellas to do a show down there to drive some people traffic. :)

@@brandon-ej8jd typically they have a QR Code on the sign above the enterance at Resorts World, on the QR Code is the schedule, but it isn't always up to date! Also, I've only been to Thunder twice I believe haha but I think they should expand the loop to more than just the convention center

Once the entire tunnel is complete, it's going to have about 50 stations located on the strip, downtown, the airport and some of the off strip properties. The problem with a bus or train is that it would have to stop at every station. Perhaps as a cheaper (and much slower) option, a vehicle with a much larger passenger capacity that stops at every station will be added at some point.

@@indianapatsfan more stops is great but if these actually gets rolled out with the intention of tourist using it, they need higher capacity or a ton more cars and drivers. Moving 1-2 people at a time simply doesn't scale. The lines will be nuts.

Nice video. Honestly, $4.50 seems like a steal. Uber would be $7-8 and there would likely be a little traffic. Amazing they built this so fast.

This loop thing is a dumb idea😢

It seems very limited, just back and forth between LVCC and RW. I suppose all other destinations like city center, Allegiant Stadium, Linq High roller aren’t of any interest to locals and tourists. At least you can link up to the monorail once at the convention center, that’s one benefit that should be mentioned.

It is currently planned to connect every hotel on the strip and will eventually expand out and do a loop around downtown. They are currently building the tunnels as rn. They just about a month ago completed the digging of a tunnel from resorts world to If I remember right wynn. It's going to take time. But yea the city has already put in place a tunnel map of all the soon to be stops they still need to dig.

Why not just build a train?

You could have built a train or subway, faster and carry far more passengers. This loop seems like a ride along ad for Tesla.

Finally. Nobody trying to oversell elons ideas to his fanbase (im a fan ofc), and nobody trying to make false accusations and crap on him cuz hes conservative. Someone just giving an honest review. Finally. Thankyou.

It'll be self-driving eventually. They're building special 12-passenger self-driving cars for it. Without any driver. To get from any hotel to anywhere else in Las Vegas in 2-3 minutes, that's the idea.

@@markussitzmann Elon's tunnel costs about 50x less than a subway (they designed new/faster electric tunneling machines and the tunnels are smaller), and gets you to your destination 5x faster and for 10x cheaper than a subway.. I think it'll basically be free, or they might charge a bit just to pay over time for the whole thing. Probably in Las Vegas it'll be free as it's a platform to promote the idea and get them to build these under every city worldwide..

Thats hyperloop. That would require hundreds of miles even to be financially feasible.

Maybe you misunderstood me but I did mention how one of the stations at the convention center is not underground and to be cautious as Vegas gets hot. Are you a Tesla Loop Driver? You seem quite offended by this video which is strictly based on one person's opinion/experience... but thanks for the comments :)) they add traction to my videos

And in a situation where the car in front breaks down, what then? No emergency exits, and so inefficient. Just build a subway, it would be so much better and would be able to transport so many more people

Well, it seems cheaper than taxi with the same functionality at least. Bus would have been better though.

yeah something like a bus would be great inside the tunnel to avoid traffic. I think theres a lot of skepticism about the loop, but its a lot cheaper than a subway to build and if there can be an autonomous robotaxi bus then it would be able to handle higher volume for sure.

what of the driver farts in the car ?

Tesla has self-driving, but they coordinate with city Government about authorizing that. Basically they'll release specially designed 12-passenger robotaxis with no driver, perhaps a bit later this year, when a few more stations are ready on the Loop.. that's what I am guessing.

Be nice to the drivers. This is not a fun job.

Oh yes! I absolutely agree. I spoke to each one of the drivers and all of them were so polite! The first driver I had you could tell was already tired of his day :(( but yes & always comply to their rules as they are taking you somewhere!!

The Tesla Loop is offered to people needing to get to the convention center from certain casinos on the strip :)

If your going to make a video know what you are talking about: you said the drivers don’t go above 25 and yet the speedometer in your car maxed at 49, which is too fast. The speed limit on the main tunnel is 40 on the straight a ways and 30 on curves. You also said all the stations are above ground; wow must’ve not seen the central station. Are you that smart??

If you actually think they were going that fast you got some bad depth perception. Most likely they had it in km/hr Yep if you zoom in you can the small number under is the actually mph. Most likely Elon is sensitive about how slow these things go.
