That’s exactly what happened 😂 they ended up forcing new rules for the expansion draft and started the evening out of the league in the west. Kinda makes sense if you ask me lol

Honestly when I heard LV was getting an NHL franchise, I rolled my eyes and decided that it would wind up being a cheap parody of itself. I could not have been more wrong. LV knows entertainment, and they have brought the NHL to a whole new level and have taken a hockey game and turned it into an experience. Thanks, LV, for your amazing contributions to the greatest sport there is! Welcome, Kraken, and let's have a great 2021-2022 season!

The Golden Knights have been a breath of fresh air, and great for hockey in my opinion. This is coming from a Penguins fan thats still not completely over the Fleury trade I might add.

The production quality that Vegas brings into their intros is incredible it never ceases to amaze me. Sincerely, an Isles fan.

Just a great arena with great fans. one of the most entertaining evenings i have had. now i'm going back to vegas in april and i'll be catching the knights vs canucks game... i'll be the guy wearing both teams lol

I literally still cry occasionally over my Kraken losing to Dallas. They were SO damn close. I love their drive and passion. I cheer for them from across the country. Can’t wait for next year. I’ve now got six Kraken shirts and plan to see one of their games in person.

@@LoveABun Oh man I'm right there with you. I wanted the Kraken vs VGK Chaos Bowl rivalry SO BAD. I know the Kraken were pretty beat up by that point and probably would have lost, but it would have been spectacular to see anyways.

Vegas is carrying the league in terms of entertainment. Simply they the best and can't be beat.

best pre-game opener i've seen in a long time, loved it 😃

I don't even like hokey but this is pretty epic but, Vegas is known for it's spectacular shows, so it doesn't surprise me that their hokey team would have their own visual effects department to put something like this together.

Damn Vegas. We know you a big city... but you didn't have to be that big lol I absolutely loved it

For a while there this felt like it was supposed to be a damn Seattle home game, but when the Vegas logo appeared and the cracking was melted away by it that was really cool

Always count on Vegas to give the best pregame shows in the league!

I'm so glad Vegas has a team, they make the best intros!

The funny thing is, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Phoenix are all closely related. You'll find a lot of people from Vegas and a ton from Phoenix in Seattle, a lot of people from Seattle in Vegas and even more in Phoenix, and of course Vegas and Phoenix. I'm from Seattle but I'm moving to Vegas. Lucky for me, I'll have two NHL teams: Kraken and Golden Knights!

This isnt just cool for a hockey team, there isn't any team of any sport that does this. Not a VGK at all but this type of stuff is what brings in new fans. Keep it up. Also makes you wonder why the LA kings never did anything like this, they are literally in the production capital of the world.

Been to one of these. Loudest NHL pre-game by anyone. By FAR. Had foam ear plugs in while in a guest suite- still, the audio levels are rocket launch loud.

The VGK did a better pregame for their first time against the Kraken than the Kraken did for their inaugural home opener.
