Dan Su can take me there. I went there in June, restaurant week and would go back again. We spent less, no lobster. We wanted to try their steak. Excellent steak. When it's a good piece of meat you don't need A1 or ketchup. S 10:06 pent almost what you spent only because we ordered bottle wine and had an aperitif. Their ceasar salad is the best. I normally would not order this type of salad, but they make it right in front of you. We also had desert. You're right expensive, but we treat ourselves to at least one expensive meal when in Vegas. Would go there again.

Next time try the Herbs and Rye steakhouse. They have various menu items at 50% off during happy hour. Not your usual hours for HH so call first to get the window of 50% opportunity. This place is a hidden gem. A top of the line steakhouse that has fantastic food.

That place is a legend. Back in the day the mob and celebrities dined there frequently. If I get a chance to return to Vegas, I would definitely try it out.

Danny that was a genius decision to eat the french onion soup with a whole block of cheese. You clear out the restaurant and you vanish into the darkness. Everybody needs a friend like Dan.

If it is aged cheese 6 months or more there is little to no lactose. By the looks of the cheese in the onion soup it is Gruyere likely the real one from Switzerland that is aged.

I shared a huge lobster, don't remember if it was 5 or 6 pounds, at The Palm once and the smaller ones are better eating. The steak looked perfect. Thanks Dan Su!

Crab Legs and Steaks are great they do have A1 and their French Fries are 🔥 I'll be there end of month and already got my table reserved 🤷🏻‍♀️ it is $$$ but hey yolo enjoy it you won't be disappointed 😉

OMG, Dan Su got off cheap on this great meal for 2. It is a historic restaurant and has great reviews. You yourself tasted the goodness in the food. Yum. I have never been to the GS but will go next time in Vegas. But no corn, it looked like a cheap skate dish. Karla in Cali.

Dude, Dan su is such a great guy, not because of his expensive taste, but he is just a great guy in general, I learn alot from him, wise person of great intelligence who would tell you about the world though dan su... which would make a great channel !

As far as chicken wings. TGI Fridays has a special Monday nights. 10 wings for five bucks. I thought it was only here in South Carolina but my friend in Las Vegas said they have it there too. And there is one at the Gold Coast if you want to check ti make sure they are still doing it. Must be a national corporate wide thing. She said she got them there. I get them here at home and they are always good. A lot of flavors to choose from. Thanks for the video of the Golden Steer. I have friends who go there. It looked fabulous but out of my price range. Thanks to Dan Su for inviting you.

I felt bad that you were eating wings by yourself in the gross Rio. But I'm glad you got to experience the golden steer, however expensive. Do Hussongs in the Mandalay Place next! Have a margarita, or have someone else have one! Cheers!

Thanks for the review Danny. I’ve never been but have certainly heard of it and seen the logo signage. Honestly, given that was a meal for two, so $110 each for a big steak (reminded me of a tomahawk style) and rally huge tail. Nowadays that’s not crazy money anymore. What would a Filet have cost? That is more comparable, I think? I mean a friggin’ Whopper is about $9 if you don’t have a coupon or other promotion! Prices are insane everywhere now. I order Chinese food delivered (maybe some BCF) and I need to take out a second mortgage! Great video, but did you get your Tap Water? Oh and props to Dan for making this video possible. ✅

My friend is Dan too but not Su so no free Golden Steer dinner for me. Dan, he is a keeper. LOL!! Darker the place, more expensive the meal is so true... . Good advice so chooses wisely. To me the meal not expensive. Two people eating one Hugh steak and one 3 pounders lobster with two sides. This is average for 4 stars restaurant.

Danny has the best friends: Dan Su - generous gentleman who hooks it up The Tungster - keeps it real and authentic (aka "ethnic") It speaks well to Danny's character. 👍😊

Danny you eat at those expensive types of places frequently enough. Especially in nyc or Vegas. You just spent $20 on 8 wings. Lol. $135 per person not bad considering the food seems pretty good. Try the other local recommends for steak and compare.

Restaurants will charge what people are willing to pay. As long as people keep ordering that item and paying that absolutely ridiculous amount then that's what they'll charge. Special occasion or not, there is no way on earth you would find me eating here. I work WAY too hard for my money to waste $300 on a meal, no matter how delicious it is. Very generous of your friend to treat you!

A wonderful thing to do for his friend DTM. The food looked good, but, to tell you the truth, your ratings did not justify the high prices.

Dan Su, thank you for letting Danny experience the eating place of former Vegas mobsters. The Al Capone steak and lobster along with tap water looked yummy. No horse head in his bed of lettuce, please.

Good info! I went there long ago (2000's?) and it was living off it's name from The Rat Pack days and the food was just meh. At least this looks like a much more modern menu with good quality. With so many famous chefs having steakhouses on the Strip now, this is probably considered reasonably priced in comparison. 😵‍💫

Ok well here’s my take on this review not that you asked. Lol We get the prime rib and baked potato and split it. It’s plenty for two people. I know it’s not for everyone be we loved that place. Everything you get is pretty much enough for 2 maybe 3 people. Maybe if you ordered something different next time or would be better. I’m like you tho I’m a cheap ass on food: but also I’m a beef snob. Maybe that’s why I like it: it’s not cheap supermarket beef, you get what you pay for imo. Also I don’t like lobster so no loss there. Lol

You should try the Steak House in Circus Circus. Yeah, I know where it is. They are fantastic. They give you a compete meal. There is no extra charge for salad, potato, and veggie. Meat is aged on site. I feel they are better than Golden Steer. Yes, they are expensive, but as much as the G.S. Have never been disappointed.

Menu of the Future....LMAO! To be fair that price for a premium steak dinner with lobster tail plus two sides was pretty cheap compared to many of the top steak restaurants in any of the main Casino resorts in Vegas!

Danny work a couple of extra shifts and enjoy yourself an expensive dinner damn. That's what i do.

I went to the Golden Steer 2 years ago and was really looking forward to it. It was a gigantic disappointment. I ordered surf & turf and the lobster was excellent, the steak was not. There was a line of gristle thru it that was impenetrable. I even asked for a new knife and that didn't help. I dropped over $200 and left the steak on the plate. I'll stick with Vic & Anthony's from now on.

I try the couple steak and it's not worth it what it cause I felt like I got ripped off but I was with my wife visiting Vegas but it's not even worth it way too expensive and the food is it's not all that!! First time ever I spent $400 dinner for 2 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
