I have psoriasis on my scalp. It's awful. Constant peeling, itching, pain, redness. And stupid intrusive comments by ignorant people. "What did you do to your scalp?!" I poured gasoline on it. For fun. C'mon, people! Mind your own damn business. And no, it's NOT contagious!

I know this was filmed over a decade ago, but it is amazing to me that they seemed to have no protocol for dealing with transgender inmates. Beyond the sensitivity of the issue on a personal level, they should not have been publicly identifying trans inmates in front of the entire population, and should not have been housing female trans inmates with male inmates for safety reasons. I am surprised there was so little sensitivity on the issue. The trans inmate in this episode had already legally changed her gender on her legal documents, yet they still referred to her as a male. That was surprising to me.
