The essence of Indian culture and tradition is encapsulated within the village-like ambiance of Vishalla, which houses the Vechaar museum. This unique museum, dedicated to a vast collection of old utensils, became a part of Vishalla three years after its inception on April 27, 1981. Vechaar stands alone globally, showcasing such an invaluable assortment of utensils. The visionary behind Vishalla, Mr. Patel, attributes the successful establishment of Vechaar to Mr. Jyontindra Jain, a distinguished anthropologist. Mr. Jain's unwavering support and guidance were pivotal in the museum's creation. His dedication extended beyond mere support; he personally authored catalogs for the museum.
Strolling through the museum, designed to resemble traditional huts, one cannot help but be awestruck by the timeless beauty of these ancient utensils. Passed down across generations, they are a testament to the unparalleled artistry and ingenuity of humans in an era devoid of modern conveniences. Mr. Patel was resolute in his mission to safeguard our rich heritage from being lost to oblivion through melting in kilns. His steadfast determination has culminated in the realization of his dream with Vechaar - a living testament to our ancestral legacy.
