Vedic Chanting | Rudri Path by 21 Brahmins

Rudri path by 21 brahmins. From powerful vedic chanting album Moksha.
Shiva means supreme consciousness which is all pervasive and eternal. The verses in Rudri Paath are the singing glory of Shiva, the giver of energy, wisdom, and health. Rudri Paath is stated in the eighth chapter of the Shukla Yajur Veda, which is said to be, beloved to Lord Shiva. It is also commonly known as Rudri. It is said that 'those who worship Lord Shiva, their dormant Shakti begins to rise' and soon with the grace of Shiva & dedicated practice, highest stages of consciousness are attained.

However they are not allowed to practice because of this *** caste system. take an example can I enter "garba griha" after learning this mantras and skt... the ans is obviously NO bcoz am not BRAHMINS I don't want to enter that garbage because I hate caste system and the God. Usually, it is not desirable for any one other than those Archakaas/Priests/Pujaris to be within the first precinct of the Deity (Garbha Griha) of temples because the invocation once taken place could adversely affect you, even if you are a so called Brahmin (recognised as Brahmin but not truly practicing any of the prescribed Aachara in day to day life - that takes about 2hrs min in the morning starting at 4:0am and 2.0hrs at the dusk!). If you want to be sincere to yourself, first learn it (by any means), practice it and then dress appropriately (not with Jean Pants and shoes) and go to any Shiva temple and recite this Mantra along with others (if any like you around) and check it out! Then, if you are not allowed like any one else, complain for sure! Women, during initial 4 months of pregnancy are also warned to be careful as not to enter Girbha Griha for reasons best known to those who are in it! There are so many from communities other than so called Brahmins(!) that I have come across, who have checked it out for themselves! Also, if someone discriminates for silly reasons, there shall always be a choice to create our own (temples, learning centers, library etc); it is free world; gone are the days to give expression to any bias!!

Listening to this energising Vedam gets me nostalgic of my good old school days. Standing at Brisbane Central railway station to go for work, my arms hair are standing, Rudram always brings me goosebumps. Fortunate that I am to have been taught Rudram Namalkam Anuvaka 1 in school in class 1. Since we were taught verbally I wrote down all Vedas including Rudram and stotrams that were taught for my personal collection in class 4-7 and only in high school I bought Mantra Pushpam by Ramakrishna Mission. One of our students also published Veda Pushpanjali with Vedam in Sanskrit and English and translations which was good. Both boys and girls were taught Vedas from first year of school by lady teacher who also taught Biology to CBSE class 12. In high school my Sanskrit teacher and Biology male teachers taught us the remaining Anuvakas in Namakam. Everyday in the morning in school assembly Sanskrit teacher taught to full school, and in evening after dinner or study hours in hostel Biology teacher taught to different batches. And after school everyday we had mass Vedam chanting including Rudram by all school and college students boys and girls and the public could join too, for more than an hour, and during Mahasivarathri we had 12 hours night Bhajans and Vedam, and Yajnam by pandits during 10 days of Dussera, lovely days those were in my school life . I participated and won Vedam and Stotram chanting competitions in high school. Good old days 15 years ago. I even went to Udupi mutt near Manipal University where I studied, to continue my Vedam learning. The Head of the Sri Krishna Mutt then gave me permission to join the Vedam class even when I said I am not a Brahmin by birth. Everyday after uni classes I used to take the bus from Manipal to Udupi temple to get that high dose of Vedam. Some get high with external things whereas some need internal.

Welcome to Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) sir. Sanatan Dharma believes entire universe is born from same source Whom we Hindus call AUM(OM). Hence we believe that Parmatma (God) is in every thing because all have born from same source hence all are equal that's why our Sanatan Dharma scriptures says "Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam" means not just 3-4 but whole world is our family. Love for all hatred for none. We believe within every living being there is divine God that's why we do namaste to all means I bow down to the divine in you. That's why majority of Sanatan Dharmi Hindus are vegetarian also. Our Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) is oldest civilization on planet Earth. Welcome. 😊

Significance and benefits of Sri Rudram The Sri Rudram (Namaka ,Chamakam) is dedicated to Rudra. Chamakam furnishes completely the ideal of human happiness and defines in the highest degree the desires and do not delimit to be asked or to be granted. It is the heart of Krishna Yajurveda and is treasured in the center of Taittiriya Samhita. The Rudra is a Homa or sacrifice performed in fire in honour of Rudra. We find that Rudram and Chamakam are used invariably for all the Vedic worship of Siva, Ganapathi and Subrahmanya in all the households and temples. The Rudram is addressed to worship Siva. Sri Rudram is a great purifier which when repeatedly chanted with devotion can expiate the worst of the sins. One can attain Bhukthi and also Mukthi. “The mantras we chant are potent and full of power. But it manifests only if we chant it with full faith.” If one Rudra [that is, eleven times the eleven stanzas of Namakam chanted along with one stanza of Chamakam every time by a single person] is chanted, it can free one from all childhood diseases. 3 Rudras can destroy imminent difficulties with which one is faced. 5 Rudras can free one from the evil effects of certain planets occupying unfavourable positions. 7 Rudras can dissolve one’s greatest fear. 9 Rudras can confer the fruit of one Vajapeya sacrifice (which is believed to bring in bountiful crop and plentiful water) and also attainment of peace of mind. 11 Rudras can bestow one with great wealth and the favour of the high and mighty. 33 Rudras can fulfill all material desires and bless one to be free of enemies. If you hear it for 33 days you will get all happiness and peace in your home and office. Rudram by itself is a very dynamic, highly energy-infusing mantra. It is in a class by itself. To chant the hymn means to charge oneself internally with dynamism and elevate oneself to higher levels. Sri Rudram comes in two parts. The first part is known as Namakam (Repeated use of "Namo"). The second part is Chamakam (Use of "Chame" before every nama). Rudram is divided into 11 sections called Anuvakas. In the first Anuvaka, Rudra is asked to turn away his Ghora rupa (fierce appearance) and to please keep his and his followers’ weapons at bay. Having been pacified, Rudra is requested to destroy the sins of those for whom it is being chanted. In the first Anuvaka prayer is made to keep fit in the human being his vitalities internal and sensory organs and mind hale and healthy, a long and peaceful and happy old age. The Second Anuvaka, prominence and leadership, common sense, intellectual acumen, capability to face trying circumstances, Spiritual elevation, worldly splendor and enjoyments. The third develops innate urge of God and meditative flights and spiritual ecstasy, service to Divinity and humanity and a condition where the world wants him and he wants the world for upliftment. The fourth assures of courtesy, fitness of the body and the best food for the body, cosy and comfort. The fifth asks for the Navaratnas, the precious stones and all the animals to sub-serve his interest and the qualified materials best in their form for his rituals. The sixth emphasizes the importance of Indra as a co-sharer in the offerings to the other Gods. Thus makes him big to get the major obtainers of Havis among all Gods and his special honour and supremacy. The Seventh lists the various instruments necessary for some and sacrifices in the “Homa Kunda”, the site of offerings to the fire God with Svahakara. In the 8th Let the following Bahiranga Yagna Sadhanas or mediate ingredients necessary for the performance of sacrifices be granted to me. The ninth is the prime prayer consists of all the contents of four Vedas. The tenth invokes all the biological species to co-operate in his daily wealth and also for the sacrificial fire. It also involves higher spiritual elevations, and makes it as Jnana Yajna. The Eleventh Anuvaka brings out the long list of benedictions asked for in the odd divine number and even human numbering. Chamakam roots are firmly implanted in the worldly desires ultimately leading to the divine fulfillment. It is prayed that the Divine is immortal, infinite and is the cause of earth and heaven, space and time, reborn after the end of everything and is the presiding deity. Chamakam Namakam chaiva Purusa Ssuktam tathaiva cha | Nityam trayam prayunjano Brahmaloke mahiyate || He who ever recites Namakam and Chamakam along with Purusa suktam daily will be honoured in Brahmaloka.

This text is not to discredit this video or the good work uploading it to web; I am also grateful and happy to see stuff like this uploaded sometimes instead of millions of shallow, mediocre trash + brainwashing on daily basis; I would also never write this to somebody who does not already understand things so I am writing this mainly to the uploader of this clip (which I respect for this work) but also to any uninformed individual which are able put aside their ego-mind's and understand how they are using terms and names without clue what they might mean or without any hint where did they come from, let alone how micro-cosmic mechanisms work with micro cosmic orbit and etc. my intention is not to troll nor I wish to enter argument with anybody who is ready to say how his/her "chakras are openning" but I have to say few words how far from anything that is; , I am just one of the ancient "intellectuals" , we are bunch which use to spend little bit more time when we wanted to say something, otherwise we wouldnt speak; Before I start I am just re-confirming that I am listening to this clip now and that I will be using it (chanting it within silence of Self together with other sacred Beej's and sufixes which I have learned to use properly over years and how they should be used at a little bit deeper level of comprehension of Vedic chanting than just listening or repeating); So, to start: ...and even if you made spelling mistake and wanted to write "root chakra" it is not existing 'thing'; All "chakra's" are root chakras and in same time none of them are, there is no one center, essence or root mantra, tehre is no one ultimate criterion nor there are no chakras which are more important than the other and there are no "upper" or "lower" chakras neither; "Root" "chakra" is not at the bottom, at center or at the top, it can be all around and it is, in same time, only in one specific place, depending on whichever point practitioner focus his/her intention at some moment or during some period if he is capable (it is also special desireless and total attention, otherwise it can not be triggered, awaken, located or found at some colorful chart in some hybrid new age literature written by one of the Hordes of "masters", Oprah-made-guru's and similar bunch); In its root, as the old Daoist wisdom say when aiming and hitting center with your arrow you've missed everything else .. It is in the Path of the arrow, the prepperation, the release of arrow during which one tries not to make almost any waves within him thus making another step towards perfection of endless inner peace (Moksha) Depending on the Path of the Sadhu, or Yogi, or some Adept of genuine mystical traditions, or devoted Mystics and/or Saint's, or ancient Rishi's, Magician's or Theurgist's, Fakir's or Sufi's ... ... they all use and/or follow their fascination and focus as a "root", therefore, there are different "centers"/"roots" for different beings and all of them, with time, patience, dedication, determination ... .....they all talk about same truth, none of truly realized masters from different traditions would name one chakra as "root chakra", actually none of them would even use term chakra to start with but thats another rant.....

And pray and request, To move us away from the catch of death, Like the cucumber from its stalk, And firmly put us in the path of salvation. Yo Rudro agnaii yo apsu ya oushadeeshu, Yo Rudro viswaa bhuvanaa aavivesa tasmai Rudraaya namo asthu. 2 Let our salutations be offered to that Rudra, Who is in fire, Who is in water, Who is in plants and trees, And who is in everything in the world. Thamushtuhi ya swishu sudhanwaa yo viwasya kshayathi beshajasya, Yashwamahe soumanasaaya rudram namobhir devaasuram duvasya 3 Pray and salute him, Who has the best arrows, Who has the best bow, Who is the home of medicines, That cure all the world’s diseases, And who destroys asuras. We salute that Rudra, For making our minds pure. Aayam me hastho bhagavaanayam me bhagavattara, Ayam me viswa beshajo ayam shivaabhimarsana. 4 This my hand is my God, This is higher than God to me, This is the medicine for all sickness to me. For this touches Shiva and worships him. Ye the sahasramayutham pasaa mruthyo marthyaya hanthave, Thaan yagnasya maayayaa sarvaanava yajamahe, Mrutyave swaaha mrutyave swaaha. 5 Oh God who destroys the world. I pray thee to keep away from me, The thousands of ropes that you have, Which is used by you to kill all beings, Due to the power of my prayers. This offering of fire is offered to death, This offering of fire is offered to death. OM namo bhagavathe rudraaya vishnave mruturme paahi, Praanaanaam grandhi rasi rudro vishaanthaka Thenaa annena aapya swa. 6 Om, my salutations to God, Who is everywhere, And to the Rudra Let not death come near me. You Rudra who lives in the junction of the soul and senses, I pray to you who destroy everything, to be within me, And due to that be satisfied, With the food that I take as offering. Om Shanthi ,Shanthi, Shanthi Let there be peace, Let there be peace, Let there be peace Ithi Sri Krishna yajur vedeeya taithireeya samhithaayam Chathurtha Kande panchama prapaataka. Thus ends the fifth chapter of the fourth canto of Taithireeya collection of Krishna Yajur Veda.

I literally got addicted to this music for some reason. Really wish my fellow Indians regardless of their caste or creed had an opportunity to learn the roots of Hindu religion. It is so important that the core philosophy of Hindu spirituality is spread to the world in it's absolute sense. It is regrettable that our country is full of superstitions and arrogant people who worship anything in sight without knowing the real teachings of Vedas and Upanishads. I would blame it on our aristocratic ancestors who tried to gain monopoly over others by restricting spiritual education to the privileged. As you can see it's backfiring now with violence in between Hindus all in the name of "made up Hindu deities" leading to the destruction of this great ancient treasure Sanathana Dharma.

There is no caste system hindduism. Nobody knew of caste system in india before british came. It is a british invention to make indians self loathing. Hinduism only has a varna system which is different from caste. It is decided through astrology and a father and son usually have different varna. And is purpose is relatively mundane, to decide what kind of work you should get into for your living. Educate yourself. PUNCH INTO GOOGLE: Ajit Vadakayil: THE UNTOUCHABLES

we have devised an art of god making. we have found GOD in everything, food that we eat, animals that help us in our day to day tasks, nature, river and mountains and even within ourselves. GOD mostly is only one whose different forms we worship for different sort of blessings. We should understand that two people fighting with arguments supporting greatness of one form than another are actually comparing two images of a single object, which essentially are same. This chaos is mostly caused by islamic traders and britishers who burned ancient vedas and books in takshila university leaving people deviod of truth and confused enough to accept Christianity and Islamic followings. A great endevour by baba Ramdev is appreciated where he is trying to set up a vedic board similar to ICSE, ISC and State boards in India.

You should learn the roots of sanatana dharma because you cannot be more wrong. The country is full of superstitions because the people are such not because of any teaching. People worship forces of nature which comprises the elements of Brahma. Vedas are terse and therefore it takes effort to understand - people think by learning a few stories they have grasped it's essence - nothing could be further from the truth. I wouldn't blame our ancestors, just look around you, all the vedas, vedangas, upanishads are available on the web, but do people read them. Hardly ! so why blame our ancestors. Finally, there are no made up deities, it's all the forces and they culminate into just one (which is the supreme brahmin). Go read and understand the Purusha suktam and it will guide you.

I will go to my levels and imagine crores and crores of rishis chanting along with me on eclipse where not only moon or sun is inline but even all the stars and galaxies together. amount of energey generated cannot be explained but just felt when tears roll.
