I use a moterm a6 & a hobonichi a6 avec together this year & it has been the best system for me. Best of both worlds- bound & rings- & I'm carrying it into 2024! Can hold it all & I'm a journaler & a realtor. Carrying it all in one cover.😊

It's beautiful. I kind of miss being in rings. I've been in a B6 TN for so long and I've never been completely happy with any planner in that size and A5 has always been too big. I tried an A6 TN and I loved the size but couldn't make it work. Going to have to check out VDS. Thanks for this video, and I'm looking forward to your setup ❤

It’s beautiful! I’ve never purchased one before but have heard so much about them. I have several Planner Perfect Leathers that I adore. I wish they would make a ring leather. Can’t wait to see how you set it all up🎉 I have an A5 cloud in purple I never use!!

I bought one on bst.... I took the rings out and slid my b6 in. It sits a little high but it doesn’t bother me. Love the touch me leather

Yay for another lover of the A6 rings. That makes me so excited for this new venture! So sorry VDS hasn’t been in your budget. Maybe create a savings tracker for one - saving $5 a week to get one. They are amazing! And the RTS are a great price! What cover do you use? What are your favorite inserts?

I have the tabac and it has developed a shine and is softens the more I use it. I love VDS and think they have some of the best customer service. Beautiful cover!

I love VDS and i love the A6 size its just an underrated size and it deserves more love. I am a bound book type of girl since 2020 but i still have a few a6 ring planners as I used this for many years and loved it ❤ so i am really exited for you to try this amazing size. Oh no, I was doing okay, but then you showed how you put the A6 notebook in the back and that started giving me some ideas… 😅 It could also be a A6 Hobonichi, right. At least an avec would fit… Thank you for the comparison between brands - it was interesting to hear your reasoning for choosing the VDS.

Yes it would work with Hobonichi too. I think the full year might work but definitely the Avec. That really was a big selling point to me to try this out - being able to have best of both worlds together. Glad the comparison/discussion on brands helped!

Beautiful! I get what you mean about page shape, lol. I’m pretty versatile, I’m loving my weeks planner, I’ve had all the way up to A5. I just can’t do a personal size. It’s a whole thing…..I’m glad I’m not the only one lol.

Weird right? You’d think since weeks doesn’t bother me personal wouldn’t but other than in my plotter which is so slim it’s almost like it’s bound it does. Funny how that works.

This was such a fun and informative video! I have never seen a Gillio, but I love VDS quality, craftmanship, etc. They are my go to for quality, leather planner covers. Petra is excellent about working with you directly to get a custom order as well. You just have to email the company and say you want to work with Petra on a custom order. She is the one that reads all the messages anyway. lol You probably know this. I have only ever ordered pocket size. That is the size I always use. You, however, make me thing about trying out an A6. haha It's weird because the system I have right now is perfect for what I want, but I am craving a change. ugh lol

Yes Petra is amazing. I have two very custom covers and love them! But I’m so excited to try this new size/style. Thanks so much for watching! I completely understand needing change. I think we should always have two or three sizes we love to change things up for different seasons.

Your state and city, as a fellow planner advocate i am glad I am not alone here in SATX. I am tempted on investing on a touch me standard rhapsody. But you have tempted me on investing on a similar color since it looks gorgeous of a color.

Hi 👋🏻 awesome to find another planner in SA! Rhapsody looks pretty - I was drawn to it too but wanted something a little more neutral that I knew I wouldn’t get tired of throughout the year. But I do think it’s so pretty!

I love the color choice. Like you, I am a bound book type of gal but I still keep staring at my A6 rings. I think my main issue is that I loathe printing and cutting inserts. I do see at least 2 shops that I can buy already printed inserts and maybe I could go that route. I have to really really think about this though. The Stalogy in the back is a good way to still keep that bound notebook in my life...lol. Thank you for sharing and have fun.

Completely understand on the printing. I actually buy a5 paper so I just have to cut in half and it’s so easy. That’s a lifesaver! And love that I can combine rings and bound in this. So excited!
