The jewel in the crown of Manhattan. Every time I imagine New York I imagine them still standing there, at least in my own heart and mind I'll never let them fade away.

A MILLION THANKS. I worked in the South Tower. The clouds you shared with the Towers peaking out from above them remind me of the day I could still see the North Tower from the windows on the 86th floor in the South Tower; the clouds were low enough to see her

Too bad they didn't rebuild two buildings like before! Kind of disappointing.. Thanks for the upload!

In a few more years, more time will have passed since the twins fell than they stood for and that's something that really makes you feel old thinking about ;-;

I wish they rebuilt these to restore that skyline

I understand the people that see doing that as disrespectful towards the victims of 9/11, but I think it would've been a huge middle finger to the terrorist if we did that, and in a way it would've paid tribute to the victims, as if the towers were their memory.

This makes me feel very nostalgic and emotional despite not being born til years after they were gone

1:20 gave me goosebumps, here in the UK we have 2 structures just slightly over 300m tall. The Shard in London & a transmitting tower in West Yorkshire🗼. Here is these modern day tower of Babels sticking out above the clouds. Breathtaking 😢
