Husker Du!!!! I've never seen that one. Metal Circus and Zen Arcade are my favorite records by them. Greg Norton, the bass player was a friend of mine a few years after they broke up.

It's not a bad one Jimmy and it was a bit reduced as far as dealers go this time but still busy. The goosing incident could have been some sort of pickpocket distraction....who knows ??? A busy but eventful day 👍👍👍

Well hello again....it's the same record fair tomorrow thats appearing in this video. I'm torn between going or going fishing or saving my money for the Leeds record fair in march,when some of us British VC folk are going to meet up 🤔🤔🤔

Thanks for taking us on a rummage Nick, lots of £15ers there. Dance craze £70 wowzer, Quadrophenia £80!!! £2 for the Ants get in. Fun fact @ 6:07 (my girl lollipop) , I had a school friend who did a job with a guy repairing/tuning church organs who played the piano on the Millie song! Fame eh arse felt/ road rage hehe

Dance Craze is being re-issued in march I think ? As a triple album and with it's original poster too . I think its £40 ??? The film of the same name is being released on dvd/blue ray for the very first time. I'll be buying both 👍👍👍

Morning Nick. Think you made the right decision about the fishing versus record fair. It's been ages since I went to one (and for the record, I've never been fishing), but this looks like a pretty good one. Beautiful Shangri-Las, don't think I've ever since anything on vinyl by them. Good to see you getting some Ultravox into the collection. I have the reissue of volume 2 of James Brown at the Apollo but have never seen the first one on vinyl. 'Ancient Heart' is a really good album; Richard McCook has done a whole collection video on Tanita Tikaram. She's British I think? Cheers, James

Hello James.... Yes you're right Tanita is British,born in Germany actually to British army mixed race parents but raised in Basingstoke,not a clue as to where I got the Canada connection from ??? Twas an eventful day !!!

If you are holding a handheld camera in your right hand and pulling records with your left, I know the physical soreness that comes on after 30 minutes of doing that. Sometimes I have to straighten my back. So, good on you for slow steady pulls for the camera. An excellent presentation of what was in the bins. Doesn't rile you when sellers stuff the boxes and the records are tough to pull and see? Talk about sales prevention! Cheers Nick.

Over stuffed bins and boxes,people who stare over your shoulder to see what you're flicking through and people who barge right up next to you to look through another box and it ends up like some sort of crazy wrestling match with arms flapping around !!! I know what you mean with a sore back etc.... after a while I just have to give up 😕

First two boxes shown, bootlegs, bootlegs, bootlegs... All those two tone, Madness etc records, silly prices. Loads more bootlegs.... 😁 Enjoyed having a look with you tho.

Yes absolute silly buggers money for the Two-Tone stuff but I suppose they're entitled to ask what they want. Wether they get it or not is a different matter !!!

Ultravox made good albums. I collect their albums and also 12inches and 7inches. Quartet a nice album too. Husker Du very good guitar band. I have not yet found a record of them for my collection! So a very nice find you did there!

As an American I am EXTREMELY jealous. I love a lot of UK artists and it’s pretty much impossible to find anything anywhere in the US

I live in the southern part of the east coast though so I know there’s nothing here. 😅 I’m not really looking for The Beatles or Pink Floyd but you are right the options are usually very plentiful for people who do like them.

The most annoying thing for me is when they jam so many records in a box you can't move them to look through then

Now i remember why i stopped going to record fairs, way too pricey for us. Nice to hear there's still the one and two pound bargains to rummage through, last one we went to had almost nothing under a tenner.

Hey Nick, with regard to the bum pinching incident are you sure she didn’t ‘……walk like a woman but talk like a man…’ and go by the name of Lola? 😂 It sounds like an eventful day, and you still came home with done great pick ups. Looked like a good record fair, although more and more I notice those bootleg/ music out of copyright vinyl records are appearing. My local record fairs’ are the same. It wasn't a shop/store,it was a record fair/show. This particular one was at Leicester.

Not saying you're not a handsome devil mate but she might have been trying to get your wallet!😮 nice choices, never seen that Selector album before. James Brown looks nice, Bad manners can't be faulted and that Jam looks tasty too. Hüsker Du is the cream. Good day at the office!

Hi Nick. Amy Winehouse The Ska Collection? What's next? Amy Winehouse The Anarcho Punk Collection? ... Some nice reissues there, but priced at £18 so I'd be able to resist buying them ... Some of the prices are getting silly, especially on those Who items. They are second-hand and graded at VG+ with wear and tear on the sleeves ... I bought 'Wild Planet' new in a sale back in the day. I don't mean to rub salt in your wound ... Was the woman who felt your bottom a pickpocket? ... I like the Pete Frame Family Tree in the Damned album. I heard a new track by the Damned on KZread yesterday. An album is on the way in a couple of months ... £2 for a stone-cold classic Adam Ant album is a bargain. There is absolutely no logic to the pricing of records. I'll see you back on Rachel's stream if you're still there.

Hello Carl... I've already got the Amy- Ska LP,its nothing really special,just an interesting addition to any Two-Tone/Ska collection I suppose. There's others by various artists including Ian Dury which I'm really keen to get hold of. They're unofficial releases by the way. Theres always plenty of re-issues and what I think are unsold record store day releases at that particular fair. With regards to The Who LPs,I'd love a Live at leeds with all the gumph that came with it but I wasn't prepared to pay that sellers prices....I'll find one some day 👍 I could have been touched up by a pick pocket but I had no rear pockets on my joggers to pick !!!

I think I paid £15 for the Damned album ? I'm sure that one and The Selecter came from the same seller ? I discovered at a later date that the Adam & The Ants had some various bits and bobs in the sleeve,that I never realised were there !!!

Hey Nick There were a couple that you flicked past that I would definitely have picked up in that reissue box. The Bridget St John , Songs For the Gentle Man and Amy Winehouse The Ska album. It's getting ridiculous at record fairs now, it seems there are almost as many sealed new and reissues being sold as the vintage stuff. I was salivating over some of those Who originals, they looked in great condition. Nice Shangri-la Las comp. I always liked Grimly Fiendish by the Damned..had a 12" of that...was that on Phantasmagoria?. Ancient Heart is a decent listen..very distinctive low register vocals. Did you get the catalogue/ booklet with Kings of the Wild Frontier.?.

Hello Rob....i already have the Amy Winehouse album,its nothing really special to be honest but it's an interesting addition to any ska type collection I suppose. I mostly collect adam and the ants,and sex pistols, I've got a kings box set 100 quid well worth it, seen adam live last year, seen him 7 times since 2013, seen pistols live 5 times on reunion tours, met glen and John lydon, seen public image ltd a few times, madness and bad manners as well, shock hand with buster,but no words were spoken, at that time he was not so well, like many genres of music.

Records, road rage and pinched bum in Leicester that's more than enough excitement for anyone in one day. You sure the WAG AKA Jamie Vardy's wife wasn't involved? Looked to be a huge amount of reissues. I'm careful with those as often not great quality, sure good for plugging collection gaps. I tend to go with certain amount of money and try to spent rather less with varying results. My mood can often dictate too. If selling then it's a different matter as swapping beforehand takes over a bit. I'm going next Sunday to a local fair as a guy has persuaded me to pop along. I've few times sold at it so know what all the other sellers are like. All the little tricks of the trade. Hoping to get back into selling once I've sorted out alot of what I don't want but moving house has created turmoil and a mess. I'm hoping they'll be a VC meet up too this year though because there's more people about now it'll be difficult to coordinate one for all and everyone is more stretched geographically. Cheers Nick.

Any album you can get on cd for 3 or 4 quid. Vinyl is just a rip off now.
