Rubish one I have already one

Nice description and yes easy to use. One downside is the container emptying. It runs into a BIG problem when it comes to the static effect on pet hair which just doesn't sit at the bottom of the bin and does not just drop out when emptying. In fact it refused to move even with substantial shaking. I eventually found a flexible implement from a Hoover wet floor cleaner , which allowed for the pet hair to be dragged out, but other than that , it cleaned well for it's cost.

Just acquired one of these. Thank you for your very helpful review.

Hows the wheels are they rubber with a metal axle going through them as on our different vax upright the wheels are made of plastic and they crumble off the body of the vacuum after a few months

@@chriswilliams8121 hi I have had mine now for about six months now and it's all still working just like new.. The wheels are plastic with rubber and a metal screw in the middle hope this helps

thanks for the help - better than the actual instructional manual. In there it says to remove the post-motor filter we have to "push a button", highlighting the plastic face in the front but you pointed out we have to twist it off.

Ali Khan I can pull the handle out, as you did, but am unable to “shorten” its length....ie the height adjustment. When you remove the dust container you can see three rectangular holes which display the handle as it sits within the structure. The handle can be seen through the top two holes, but it is nor visible through the bottom hole.

How did you manage to drop porridge oats on both the carpet and gard floor...🤷‍♂️

I was hoping you would show how to flip from cleaning the floor to cleaning, say, a cobweb on the ceiling. I can't seem to find a quick, non-faffy way to do this. (It takes about 5 seconds with my hoover spirit). My children assured me the vax was better. Have I missed something?

Hi open the plate on the side, then remove the belt and then you will be able to remove the brush bar.

Yes mine picks up great but don't you find it awkward when you want to get rid of dust, cobwebs etc. in high places? The hose isn't long enough, unless you know whether the hose can be unattached from the bottom? With kitchen plastering going on in my house lately I needed to vacuum the tops of the wall units and it was very difficult!

@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS I ended up standing on a stool, holding the Vax in left hand while trying to vacuum over the top of the units! I possibly could've wiped it with a damp cloth several times to get rid of the plaster dust etc. instead and it was very awkward. I've got to do this job again in the next few days as the plaster has now been rubbed down and painted thus creating more dust! Can't win! Great video GrumpyMan but it would be great if you, and other reviewers, could show how this operation of the Vax could be done. Thanx.

Great video! I'm looking for a vacuum which is great for both laminate flooring and carpets but also good for pet hair and an upholstery tool is necessary. Could you recommend any please preferably under £200 if possible? A swivel head would be helpful also. I've looked at Vax too but I'm unsure how good it would clean hard/laminate flooring as it's rated C for this. I've also heard awful reviews on this for hard floors. Thank you!

Had this about a year. Very powerful suction. The slider adjuster is a brilliant feature. Just rear the instructions which suggests replacing the filters every three months. I'm going to try wash and dry. If that doesn't work they're only £6.99 on eBay.

Hi, yes I have. Use a crosshead screwdriver to remove the plate, you'll then have access to clean the brushbar and the belt.

Try removing the brush bar and putting it back on, it might be out of place. If that doesn't work, contact Vax.
