    It is a bit loud, but it can be forgiven as it does do a good clean I reckon :) the doors are pretty good aren’t they. Oak with just a natural oil to protect them. Thanks for the wonderful comments

    I just picked up a vax dual power max for free was only used 5 6 times. Looks the same as this one but orange and grey. Can’t wait to try it out. Still have my multifunction 6131 vax it’s been faithful for 13 years but the motor is getting extremely loud nowadays it’s like a jet engine 🙈😂 so hopefully this can replace the old girl 🤞🏻

    It’s really under estimated in my opinion. It’s seriously great as a quick, whip it out and quick clean. Pretty much dry after a few passes

    What would u say was the best out of Henry, bissel and vax? Especially for water suction. I’ve got a Bisell lift off but the suction is crap the carpet is always left so wet despite how many times I go over it. I’ve just got a Henry to see if it’s any better

    Hi I have one of these machines and as I was using it recently, it started to make a weird noise and was smoking. I quickly switched it off to discover the belt had broken and had disappeared somewhere inside the machine. I looked at youtube videos on how to change the belt but all the ones I could find were ones where the belt was accessible via the wheel. I took off the belt cover and then started to take the bottom off but after removing a further half a dozen screws realised the bottom was not designed to be removed. So then put it all back together. This took an hour or so as i was trying to fathom out how to do it safely. I had another attempt today. I approached it from the top this time and eventually got yhe cover off The whole of the area was covered in sooty residue which was probably burnt belt. So in order to clean it i removed a further cover which revealed that the drive shaft (Is that what its called?) was wrapped in the rest of the melted belt which I cleaned off with a stanley knife and vaccuumed clean. I went onto the vax site but had no luck sourcing a belt for this model and after vain attempts to get it from a third party source, have emailed various spare companies and am awaiting a response. Now I wondered how to actually fit it when it comes so I went onto vax chat support only to be told that the belt on this machine CANNOT be replaced and is it under warranty? (Cant find my documentation 🙄) and also thet do not sell belts for this machine because "they don't expect them to break often". Now I dont think it acceptable for a whole vaccum cleaner in perfect condition should be thrown away because the belt is broken even if it is replaced by a new machine. Sorry yhis is such a long post but am I the only one who this has happened to? The only thing they can suggest is that if I get a belt I get an independent engineer to do it. But It ought to be something I can do myself. Sad because it does do a great job. Basically i have spent nearly all day trying to sort it out.

    Hi Henry, I loved the review. Quick question please...is it possible to use this carpet cleaner as a regular vacuum cleaner, but without releasing water onto floor or even to spray the floor? Thanks :)

    Not really. It may pick up some dirt and debris, but it’s designed to deliver and pick up water mostly

    So no matter how much leftover solution/clean water I have it's good to pour it out after the clean correct?

  • @HenryReviews

    Hi 👋 as long as the solution you are using is ok to dispose in your drains/sink then that’s fine. The vax solution is ok to dispose of in the sink.

    I have just bought one of these, I have had people out many times with them extraction machines why is it people say that the Vax will never get the carpets as clean as a commercial machine cleaner when the Vax has brushes and does more or less the same?

  • @HenryReviews

    @HenryReviews

    From my point of view, comparing commercial grade cleaning to home cleaning there is a noticeable difference but only when it comes to the pick up of the water and how wet the home use machines leave the carpet. The cleaning/result of the look of the carpet is not that much difference.

    They sure do Sparkle. They go in the opposite direction to each other. Sounds like you have a faulty unit. I would suggest contacting vac or if it is new take it straight back and ask for a replacement.

    Wow! That’s not good. Not heard of that happening unless if somethings got tangled and then worn the motors out. Glad you returned it. Don’t let it put you off them though. I use mine a lot and love it 😊

    "One cap per litre" : you should have used about 4.4 caps because the capacity of the tank is 4.4 litres. Still though, thanks for the video

    Totally agree. Was only using a smaller amount due to the carpet being only 6 months old so it didn’t really need a big amount. But since then I have done it a fair few times with the full amount and a few drops of zoflora too!

    @@HenryReviews I don't dispute that but the demonstration wasn't good at all. I was like durability test of a car on a perfect road.LOL...Try it on a very dirty stained carpet and we'll talk.
