My first car was a second hand 55 Cresta which gradually vanished bit before my eyes. Thanks to the rust issues these cars had.

Yes, great car. Good British steel but like most company’s poor rust protection back then. daily drivers did not last long with bad winters at least some survived. :)

The Velox script badge on the E Model is very spiky and cool looking.

My family's first 'modern' car was a 56 Velox. I remember my mother saying 'is this really ours?' I passed my driver licence in the Velox. We next had a PA model.

My father is current building up one wi6h all original parts the 1960 model in Harare Zimbabwe Zimbabwe Zimbabwe he's a big collector

Sorry, but your video is ruined by you rendering it in the wrong aspect ratio. I don't know what editing program you used, but they almost all have the facility to alter the aspect ratio. Even if you used Windows Movie Maker in Windows XP, it is there, but you have to figure out how to find it. Other than that, this is a car I wanted to have back in the day so I was interested to see it. Maybe I should be more forgiving.

I had a 1950 Vauxhall wyvern, nothing like this shape it was more a pre war sit up and beg style.I can’t see Vauxhall making a Velox like this in 1948?
