Stunning car lads Mk1 SR was 1.3 8v mk2 SR was 1.4 8v and SRI was 1.4 8v Nova GTE (MK1) and mk2 nova GSI where both 1.6 8v injection 👍

Such a shame they didn’t get someone that knows about these cars to speak about this little beauty

There was 1liter a 1.2 which was your flair spins etc 1.3 sr as u mentioned think they also came in the sport which had Webber’s that was ure rally one and am sure there was a 1.4 sr nova and the gte witch was a 1.6 8v then the mk2 (90s like nova in video ) was a gsi same engine few changes a think and all nova engines were 8 valve except the 1liter was a pushrod over head valve the engine in that is the c20xe also known as a red top that is a 2.0 16v 5 speed box (f20) came in cavys mk 2 Astra gte etc about 150 bhp standerd they have throttle bodies on there same engine as my nova

Yeah had a 1.3 sr a 1.4sr a 1.4sri a gte 1.6 8v and a gsi 1.6 16v cool cars back then still a cool car now

Mk1 Sr 1.3, Mk2 Sr & Sri 1.4, Mk1 Gte 1.6, Mk2 Gsi 1.6 all 8v they never made a factory 16v. Mk1 Sport was 1.3 on twin 40’s. Iconic cars from my childhood…. I’ve 4, one the same as this 2.0xe 16v mostly these engines came from Gsi Astras…

Being from the states, we obviously never got these, but I remember seeing these in many issues of Max Power back in the day. Really clean build. Looks like a blast to drive.

Ffs your reviewing a car you don't know nothing about. It's a 1990 with a 2l 16v C20XE engine on throttle bodies, it's a later redtop on a coil pack instead of a dizzy cap. I've got a 1989 nova with same engine, there like marmite you either love it or hate it, gets a bit scary at 140+ but a blast to drive, shame he didn't get his toe down they fly been only 750kg hope this helps a bit. 😊
