Goes to show you do not need massive power to have fun 😃

I built this Nova Nigel,seeing this video puts a smile on my face,it was my fourth Nova in total.If you want to know anything give me a shout. I have the video of it on the rollers 138bhp it pulled.

If I was a millionaire I'd buy a mint Nova before anything else. Absolute dream car.

speedlines are epic wheels for a Nova or Corsa such timeless design. Such a clean car love it

Lovely little car and great colour. Immaculate condition. I had a 91 Astra GSi 16V in white with those Speedline alloys. They were the only wheels with the correct offset to fit properly and clear the back arches. Unfortunately Vauxhall never did much chassis rust protection and they rusted inside to out.

i normally hate vauxhalls, but that car is very nice my apprentice had a 2ltr redtop in his K reg [another 1.2], bit too fast + ate front wheelbearings, but the chips were always still nice +hot when he got back from the dinner run.....

I find it funny when people think because you have more bhp you will fly past people with less bhp 😂🤣😂people with 200+bhp can’t beat my 1.6 16v 109bhp 😂🤣

Nice little car, had a G reg nova 1.5 turbo diesel back in the day and what a rapid little car it was quicker than the gte, upgraded to the corsa 1.5 turbo diesel after that and it was no where near the nova

It was over 4 seconds slower to 60 than the GTE so in no way was it quicker. The GTE/GSI was the flagship

@@paulstevens9409 on paper it might have been but I drove both cars first hand and mine was quicker than my dads mates gte, even the pull and acceleration from 70+ was unbelievable. I had the corsa after that with same 1.5td engine and it was no where near as quick and i was actually shocked in the difference

Bog brothers are defo best tuners when it comes to carbs and old engines. Unreal people

Love it 😎 had a gsi back in 04 and have a 1.2 Antibes just now... more power in a nova the better, but you crash you die most likely 😁

Hope them are genuine speedline rims love them had them on my Sri corsa worth a fortune today

One of the most fun ive had in a Nova was the 1.7td - even std it was boosty and fun!

Yes they were extremely fast it was a 1.5td in the nova, corsa had the same engine but I’m sure Vauxhall de tuned it when they realised the nova was mental. My dads mate had the nova gte and my 1.5td was actually quicker

1.5td! Thanks for reminding me, an Isuzu unit? The car in question was a GTE rep in white, it revved well for an early derv and got a move on the mway hahaha

@@exgtt2061 yeah an Isuzu unit 1.5 was nova and corsa, 1.7 was Astra. The nova was by far the quickest of them all for some reason. The pull from 70/80 when you put foot down was incredible for the engine size

Quicker than the GTE/GSI's? Wow, never been in those but I've been in plenty of 1.3SR and 1.4SRI (I think, bad memory on the 1.4 but it was injection and the lad who owned said his 1.3SR was quicker)

One of these was on eBay the other day for 5k..went within a couple of hours

That trick don’t work on the new design ones 😂😂plus most novas have immobilisers fitted

Novas were/are mint with the 1.8 8v or 2.0 8v out of a cav Sri..they go like stink

@@HutchSco I had a full scorpion a k and n induction ( standard on all🤣) and a chip. Never had it on a rolling road but that punchie 8 v motor used to shift. Had 30 mm lower and a set of tsw imolas on it😍😍😍💪🏼

@@HutchSco the only downside to any nova is the peddles. I’ve only got size 10 feet and used to struggle with me work boots on🤣🤣🤣.
