Andrew: they get paid not only overtime but also double time as negotiated by the union. Vaush: they stole the money because there's no union, oh wait there's a union, ummm well they didn't mention duh wage theft but I won't edit or acknowledge that I was wrong. The tactic of the Vaush videos is to make stupid faces, stupid assertions & say company bad

What i love is They love to dramatize how socialism is so much better than Capitalism BUT can barely reflect a time when Socialism worked to the benefit of the majority of the Population. The real problem with Socialism in America is how it is currently being used in the U.S. Evry big City has welfare programs to help those who dont work. That numbers grows continuously as once people start getting free checks, they dont want to go back to working. Look at how difficult cities are having getting people back to work. People enjoyed those govt checks ( i was one of them who didnt want to go back to work. I enjoyed the free money). Its a dark path to go down and this country is already starting to feel the pressure on the difficulties of going back to normal. MY point is people who leach off the system OR people who legitimately needed it find it difficult not to receive Govt assistance. People Like Vaush Love the idea of being fed by the govt and with his platform will attempt to bring in more people to eat from the trough

The main point that never got brought up is that 20 of those 60 hours would be overtime pay, which is 1.5 times their base wage. So let’s round the lowest number mentioned ($18.35 per hr.) up to $20.00 per he. just for ease of calculation here. That would be $30.00 per hour x 20 hours + the $800.00 per week of regular pay. That comes out to $600.00 + $800.00 = $1,400.00 per week. That’s then $1,400.00 x 52 = $72,800.00 per year. So, Soyboi Squash, it WOULDN’T be $40,000.00 but would be almost DOUBLE that amount. Where does $72,800.00 fit into the income demographic chart, Soyboi? He didn’t bother to mention ANY of the overtime pay being calculated into that. MANY people would LOVE to be earning $72,800.00 per year, so I don’t know what Vaush is on about. He seriously needs to LISTEN and do some calculations before making ANY assertions.

I know this shouldn't be a newsflash to most people, but who the fuck says to themselves that 'Yeah, I'm gonna make a middle class living working at a frito-lay factory' Why do people feel some obligation that 'I deserve more! It doesn't matter if I'm working in a job that literally is the bottom of the barrel in terms of the skills needed to work there' Who the fuck expects to be able to live a middle class life when they work at fucking Walmart? That shit is a job, not a career.

@@CivilEngineerWroxton Vaush is an idiot and its extremely obvious that he's never actually held a real job. Like I would be genuinely surprised if he's ever worked anything more than part time cashier at mcdonalds. He says that frito lay may not even be paying them overtime... which is absolutely ridiculous. Anyone working that much overtime is going to have a general idea of how much money they'll make, AND pay stubs are a thing that show exactly how many hours you work and what you get paid. If it were happening, the workers would know about it, the union would know about it, and if the union knows about it, they would be raising absolute hell over it. For him to even suggest this tells me that he's never worked a full time job in his life.

The reason that “partial communism” is the norm, and typically still retains a government, is because they have to keep their people in check and make sure that the country can sustain itself because if not it’ll stay at a stalemate from the lack of incentives and therefore motivations as no one truly owns anything to call their own to be working for it. That’s why they end up being the most totalitarian, since they need to make sure that doesn’t happen and can only do so by making their people completely reliant on them.
