Living in old age home is not bad. People accepted living in apartments. Life changes people change. Nothing is permanent. In other countries old age home is called Nursing homes. When aged people get health problems family can not take care 24hrs. Every one will go to Nursing homes and finally they for there. Nursing home is their home from there final journey ends. That's the Norma life. Every one has family problems that is not the real problem but we need to get knowledge what is old age. When we grow older we need to change our views thoughts and opinions. Just be friendly share happiness and live peacefully.

"లెగు" అని వాడడం సాధారణమైపోయింది. తప్పులేదు కాని "లేచు" అన్న అసలు రూపం మర్చిపోకూడదు. "లెగు" అనే బదులు "లే" అనవచ్చు. "లెగలేని" అనడంకన్న "లేవలేని" అన్నది పూర్తి అర్ధాన్ని ఇస్తుంది.

వృద్దాప్యంలో చక్కటి స్నేహితులతో,మంచిమనసు గలవారితో గడపడం ఎంత అద్భుతమయిన విషయం. నేను నా చిన్ననాటి మంచిమనసుగల స్నేహితులతో గడపడం చాలా హాయిగా అనిపిస్తుంది.అందుకే సాధ్యమైనంతగా ఆనందాన్ని అనుభవించడానికి శారీరిక దృఢత్వాన్ని కోల్పోకుండా వ్యాయామాలు చేస్తా. నా అద్భుతమయిన స్నేహితులం వొకరికొకరం వృద్దాప్యంలో సహాయ పడుతూ వుంటాము. పది పది హీనెళ్ళ వయసును వెనక్కితోసేస్తాము. Why only one sided view on old-age homes ?? Old people need peaceful and individual lives in that age, i knew 2 persons who voluntarily joined old-age homes for privacy. In every story, children are not convicts.

మన సంస్కృతి ని సరిగా అర్థం చేసుకొంటే వృద్దాప్యం కఠినం అనిపించదు. బ్రహ్మచర్య ఆశ్రమం, గృహస్ట్ ఆశ్రమం, వానప్రస్థం, సన్యాసం అని నాలుగు భాగాలుగా మన సంస్కృతి మానవ జీవితాన్ని విభజించింది. గృహస్థ ఆశ్రమం అంటే పిల్లల భాధ్యతలు , డబ్బు స్పందించడం వంటుంది. ఒక సారి పిల్లల పెళ్ళిలయ్యి వారి వారి సంసార భాధ్యతలు వారు చూసుకొంటున్నప్పుడు, తల్లి తండ్రులు వానప్రస్థ ఆశ్రమం అంటే విడిగా ఉన్నా , వారితో కలిసి ఉన్నా, ప్రతీ విషయం లోనూ పట్టించు కోరాదు. సృష్టి లో ఏ జీవి పిల్లల పై ఆధార పడదు. ఈ మధ్య కాలం లో మిడి మిడి జ్ఞానంతో కొంతమంది ప్రవచన కర్తలు, పిల్లలతో నే పెద్దలు చచ్చే వరకు ఉండాలన్న నియమం సృష్టించారు. మన పురాణాలు కానీ , పాత చరిత్ర చూసినా రాజులు రాజ్యాన్ని పిల్లలకిచ్చి వానప్రస్థం స్వే కరించినట్లు గా చెబుతారు కానీ పిల్లల దగ్గరే ఉంట్లు లేదు. అదీ కాక జీవితాన్ని సరిగా అర్థ్ చేసుకోక పోవడం తో చాలామంది వయసు మీరిన వారు , ఎమోషనల్ గా మాట్లాడడం లాంటి వించేస్తుంటారు. సరిగ్గా అర్థం చేసుకొంటే, ఓల్డ్ ఏజ్ హోం అన్న రిటైర్ మెంట్ హోం అయినా చరమ దశలో మానవ జీవిత ప్రయాణ పరమార్ధాన్ని అర్థం చేసుకోవడానికి మంచి అవకాశ ప్రదేశాలు. మీడియా వాళ్ళు కూడా ఓల్డ్ ఏజ్ హోం అంటే ఒక జైలు అన్నట్లు గా చూపెట్టకండి. స్వచ్చందంగా ఎంతో మంది వాటిలో ఉండడానికి ఇట పడుతున్నారు. పిల్లలు కూడా గ్రహించాలి ఈనవస్థ ఏదో ఒక రోజు తమకు వస్తుందని. ఒక పలకరింపు చేస్తే వారికి లక్షల రూపులు ఇచ్చినట్లే.
