Vasudha Kapadia | Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2022-23

"I do have a love hate relationship with the internet, like most of the people who use it and abuse it, and then they have an objective view about it too, you know, we're using it too much."
Vasudha Kapadia's works employ slow drawing processes to work through personal experiences, societal conditions, anxieties, observations, and desires. Conceptually, she excavates and historicises invisibilised, decaying, and discarded material, drawing attention to systems that govern memory and identity and their oppression and control.
Vasudha Kapadia's artwork is currently displayed at Coir Godown, Aspinwall House.
Kochi-Muziris Biennale curated by Shubigi Rao, open until 10th April 2023.
