@@justinhunt1714 why do you say he was "pushed" to do it? I saw some interviews where he basically says he wanted make mass-appealing music rather than this kind of original self-expression. Those were probably not his exact words but it's the point he made. And I hate him for it xD he's too talented for pop music

I love how soulful this song sounds... I don't know why, but it really does to me.

A lot of this album Jon sampled a lot of gospel, soulful music, that is very powerful and seems like a strange thing to sample for his music type, but IT WORKS. Makes his work so much more powerful.
This track is a masterpiece.

Best VAST song ever, hands down. I haven't listened to them in years-I used to be obsessed, but they kind of lost my interest. I loves their stuff up till nude.. All albums after that I can't get into. They don't have that dark edge anymore:( flames is also beautiful, but this is the best-and quite underrated

I just finished kickin ass in c.o.d. Mw3 to this song. This song goes hella hard!!!
Yeah, some of these songs are pretty entrancing!
Was getting skin shivers from the way he almost wails some of this, so beautifully painful its intoxicating. never quite got what the words were but to find out it was 'as i spread her thighs my life flashes before my eyes' that made my skin tingle makes it even more genius lol
Yeah bro I used to get down on all the old classics...Final Fantasy, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Soul Reaver (Of fucking course), Medievel...I could go on an on. Point is, those were the best years of my life; and Vast only made it better.

Yyyeeessss! (I have a Final Fantasy 3 tattoo (or 6 depending on your purist level) It's Terra all done in Super Nintendo pixels art. All my friends nicknamed her after me in their games cos she had bright green hair. So my 2 lil brothers were visiting me and I got them their first tattoos and I got one too. We all got video game Tats and that's what I picked.

I've seen this video like 100+ times and only now am i realizing that the first ten seconds have a misspelling. Vast Dity Hole. gg
VAST is Jon Crosby's brainchild. It will never be equaled
My understanding of it, is that he sings about both women and death as one - with the "hole" meaning both, err, the obvious and a grave. They lead to the same thing; the downfall of men.
This is about a bit harsh, but I like.

Vast is unique. When Jon played shows as Vast, he would be just one man and a laptop. My buddies opened for him, and I had to set then right on them calling Vast boring! Samples of lots of old gospel, jazz, and early American soul music. And he was 16 when he wrote the majority of this album. ♥️
