This has been the most truthful post vasectomy vid I’ve seen so far. I had mine about a week ago. I didn’t really use or care for pain medication either. I advise only using it if you actually need it. I was able to walk but that’s about it. I used sports underwear and a jockey strap for support. That helps. Use the ice. If it’s hurting it’s because your doing to much.

I'm on day 5 recovery and this is spot on. A lot depends on the type of vasectomy that you get. Some people only get 1 incision point, others require 2. In my case I required 2 incisions and it has been very uncomfortable. First 2 days were the worst, day 3 and 4 swelling went down and now its just he incision points that are tender. I'll be honest, the worst part of this recovery is getting an erection because it pulls on the incision points while they heal and it is not pleasant. Use some icepacks to help with this during recovery.

Worst bits the anaesthetic as its an odd place to feel a nip, but that only takes a couple seconds and whole thinks done relatively quickly. Hi Nacho Bob. Thanks a lot for the video. I just got mine done two weeks ago. After the first couple of days, no pain really on the left side. The right side though, feels a little heavy, the sensation of some back pressure. The pain isn't always there, it sort of comes and goes. Was it the same for you, pain that would come and go? Or was it steady pain all around? Did you feel it equally on both sides or more on one side? How long did it take you to get to a hundred percent, lots of comments I'm not sure if I read 4 weeks or 2 months? Also when you say a hundred percent is it totally gone or does that mean bearable pain/discomfort. Sorry for all the questions, just really worried! Hopefully I'll hear back from you. Thanks.

Try not to delve too far into google search. Everything eventually tells you you will die! I’m sure it will get better my man. I would give it 5 days and if things are no better at all I would get in touch with your doctor to get it checked out. Take it easy but don’t sit around all day, I found a bit of sitting, standing and walking made me feel better.

Your mileage did vary. Mine was Wednesday. 6 minutes from drop your drawers to pull them up. Watched the whole thing. No Needle, no scalpel, open ended. No pain, no bruising, no swelling, no stitches, no funny walk, no frozen peas, hiked with a friend afterward. 12 weeks later success, no swimmers, all juice, no seeds. I think you went to the wrong doctor. Shouldn't hurt any more than giving blood.

My procedure was little to no pain. No meds. 2 days off w 0 activity. 3rd day (after procedure) back to work and at one point forgot about it. The trick to support is folding a sock in half (long side) and placing it under your balls. Then making sure you wear really tight underwear. Take cold showers.
