I do like it when newer scooter designs hit the market, it becomes very refreshing to see something new and cool looking rather than the same thing year after year. That being said I would like to see Varla's take on high performance dual motor scooter not their eagle one pro, but a scooter that minimum speed of 50mph that is a 72v.

This scooter looks really cool but the Pegasus is simply better in all ways. The short stem and front motor are preventing this scooter from any chance against the Pegasus.

That’s exactly what I was gonna say. Just spend the extra money and get something way better. Plus the motor in the front was a no go for me.

As an owner of 4 scooters (most are considered faster ones), I DO have the need for a lightweight one that can EASILY be carried up stairs (I live in a second story apartment). Up to this point, I’ve relied on my 1st scooter, the NanRobot x-4. I paid $600.00 for it, 5 years ago, on Black Friday. It’s a 48V, 17ah battery (could be wrong about the ah, but it’s what I seem to remember). It has a solo rear-drum brake, the typical low-mounted ‘Bot headlight, a really good horn, front “wambly” spring suspension, regen braking (thank GOD), no rear suspension, solid rear tire, weighs 33 pounds, with a 500 W rear motor, which has caused at least 3 wheelies on this light scooter. I think that front wheel motors are, conceivably, a better choice for really light scooters. I am on my second battery which I bought from roadrunner scooters. This lil guy is what I grab to run to the grocery on. Indispensable. SO. It’s about time to retire this dude and am considering the Falcon: heavier (meh), but with a couple of features (suspension) that the, now defunct, x-4 lacked. Thanks for the video. Ultimately I’ll shop other scooters but this one’s in the running. 😊just checked; it’s a 10.4 AH. Now the battery sells for $350.00….hmmmmm🤔. Lighter weight+$350 vs. suspension, heavier weight+$1000.00?….

No way man - its a front wheel drive scooter! LOL... Also the only physical brake is on the rear tire, the one that skids out most? Why was this entire configuration not flipped... rear motor, front disk brake

If they avoided some of the unfortunate design decisions, like the front mounted motor, short stem, inaccurate battery indicator, and handlebar design that prevents you from mounting any accessories, it could have been a decent scooter option. I like the clean design with no hanging wires all over the place, and the full spring suspension at this price point. How is the water resistance? I don't believe you mentioned that in the video.

It locks good but for 1,000€,$ you can buy many of single and dual scooters. I like to have that guarante araund corner and that is almost 1 or 2 firms that work on that way.

Hey, Mitchell, are those fenders plastic? Varla has a nasty hanbit of cutting corners, and plastic fenders are usually first to go! Though to be fair, most every scooter company cuts corners in 1 way or another. For 1 grand tho should have made it a dual hub.

I would. Specs are about the same but the motor on the Varla is a little better but the max is rated 2 and a half miles per hour faster. I'd probably get a max over this scooter but like he said, for the price range, I'd get a Pegasus or a Mantis 8, which is always on sale it seems.

I wonder what is this scooter for varla and customers when for 50 more dollars you can get pegasus that is better in every way, and in europe is not available to get, only pegasus, eagle one and eagle one pro. Unless they are going to increase soon prices on pegasus and eagle one to make new scooters more appealing. And Falcon by it looks and design seams as scooter for younger kids, puffy and some what aggressive like cheap gaming keyboards and mouses. And even more, why in the world Wasp for 600 dollars have blinkers in handle and no falcon or others have? Some removal blinkers with tip cover for cables for water protection in handle, or something. And about Wasp, on website it does look like any other scooter in cost for around 500 dollars/euro, and fact that it have springs and few other thinks for me it seams it will be placebo effect of effectiveness because these seams small and some what weak, but I might be wrong. On another hand I do like Wasp design, it looks better than MI or momo design scooters and is not so in your face plastic fantastic like concurrency. And a good video like always.

The Varla company is trash. I bought an Eagle one from them a steam bearing failed the battery shorted and the scooter wouldn't turn on. I contacted them for a replacement 6 months down the road sending them 10 videos and fighting on the phone with them I got a replacement. This one has the same problem. It only charges to 57.6v the battery is a 58v battery with less than 1000 miles at this rate ill be replacing this battery at 3400 mils haha haha don't waste your money on this crap get an e-bike.
