Disco/high energy music of the 80's was the best. Class of 86. I can't believe 😪 that time has pass us so quickly. I was fortunate to have grown during this era. Many good memories. This is a great mix. Wish it could have been longer.

Like you , I too grew up during this era. It was just brilliant. This HI NRG / Eurobeat still makes me feel good when I feel down. As you said , so many amazing memories of those times.

Wow, Holland "Gets Down". Always knew of these records from the 80s, did not know of it's simple Hot Plate 1-10's here on Utube. Get down Holland!

I used to have all 3 volumes mixed on 1 cassette tape back in high school & played it till it wore out & now Ive just recently bought them all on vinyl which Im going to convert to cd/mp3, might even dust off the old BVL mixer & recreate the old tape with a few additions (Master Fusion '86/Flashback Of A Genius). Those were the dayswhen music was actually worth listening too.

I actually have this! I got it with a stack of records a guy I went to school with didn't want any more. This along with an original Appetite For Destruction, Back For the Attack, and Money and Cigarettes and some crap 12 inch single from Yazz.

I have never heard the mix of lookin out by oh romeo that was played at Circus from 1983+

It's from the 80s hard to tell - but most ALL Greater East Los Angeles DJs from that time have it and play it still. Various artist songs on it. You can "fake DJ" on this - as a Halloween Costume, simple to make just put the boom box hidden on your strap cardboard. Like the popcorn dudes, put one finger on one record and other holding earphone. Good Luck!

no jim started jdc records. its him and his wifes initials. he also had a record,cd,dvd store in Hermosa beach and now has one in san pedro. it was called the music stop. your dj did not start jdc records. i talked to jim and was working out a deal to get his D.A.Ts og "the jdc workout #1,#2,#3,#4"( 45 min of nonstop music each side= cassette) released to cd for my personal collection.
