I mean, the episodes between. “The Alchemist Returns “ and “ Queen for a day “ are “ Painter’s Block “ , “ Not in the mood “ and “ Quest for Varian”. And nobody else knew that Quirin was imprisoned in unbreakable amber until Quest for Varian. Also in episode 19, not only Rapunzel is still pouting , CASSANDRA is thinking Varian’s dangerous! this is super late, but the entire key situation here is in queen for a day when varian is asking rapunzel for help with his father. when he pretty much just grabs onto her arms and tries to pull her away from the room to come help out of desperation, nigel calls the guards in to throw him out and pretty much starts/lets the rumor spread that varian attacked rapunzel. so we can blame that on nigel. the issue beyond that is rapunzel letting that rumor spread even after she found out about it.

Love little rant like thank you though I was only one who felt that way. Also love fact that she didnt even bkther to stop the fake rumors that where being spread of him so called "harming the princess". And then fact that they kicked the poor kid back out into the most deadlyest snow storm..like what happens if he got sick or worse died from it...then what " your highness" how would you feel about your friend then...least you could have done was stop the gaurds and let him stay on the castle till the storm died down...but you didnt. And i'm glad you didnt and that he made it back home safe and did those things to you cause you kinda did deserve it. Ans also the fact that he was only one to be punished for crimes. I understand the queen be taken was his fault. But the floor rapunzel helped with and she even stated that...but no one got onto her for it. I understand what he did is wrong but you could have made him do community serves while being watched at all times or something...not lock him up while assuming his dads dead feeling like he lost everything all just to make yourselfs look good. And oh btw did rapunzel bother to check on him then...no she goes off on a little journey to find out about black rocks...they heck rapunzel. Sorry as you can tell I freaken love Varian and I kinda wish the queen got same situation Quirin did so Rapunzel and the king can understand how he felt cause after all. Quirin did lie to the king...however the king also knew about the situation and did nothing to really stop it besides give people new land that would eventually get taken over by the rocks anyway so pointless. 😅 But yeah Im glad varian turned himself back into the dorkish little nerdy guy we love. Dont get me wrong I love dark varian (wish there was more of him) but i like the good varian more. And wish the didnt reject Varian and the seven kingdoms...hopefully they change their minds on it...be nice to see a side story on him and shoot maybe even cass and her adventures.
