Vari Voula and Vouliagmeni look lovely from a distance but once you try to walk there you realise the pavements are narrow and ruined, the noise from cars is unbearable and all the apartment blocks are the awful 1970s style and have not aged well. Cars are parked absolutely everywhere and occasionally you pass sites like Asclepion hospital which structurally is almost falling apart and is half abandoned. Vasileos Pavlou is a nice walk, and Plateia Vouliagmeni is new and pretty, but they are all dirty from car and motorcycle tyre marks that no one has cleaned in years. As someone who grew up around this part of Athens, it contains a lot of sentimentality for me, and obviously the coast is jaw dropping, but unfortunately we haven’t done the natural beauty any justice with our lacklustre infrastructure.

Ο τίτλος εξίσου υπερβολικός με τη μουσική. Ξεκινάει με το ίσως η ομορφότερη πόλη στην Ελλάδα και στο τέλος καταλήγετε να είστε και σίγουροι ότι είναι η ομορφότερη. 😛 Υπάρχουν πανέμορφες πόλεις στην Ελλάδα για κόψτε κάτι...
