I saw a lot of complaints in the chats during the characters reveal. I honestly like the simplicity of the hero. The feats are pretty interesting as well.

I agree.Low skill yappers usually want heroes with completely new fetures and completely different movesets. And eaven tho i agree to some extent i don't think every hero needs to be the next highlander or nuxia. It's nice seeing the devs do something they know how to do and trying to innovate it to some extent. In short: Characters don't have to be complex to be fun.

The people complaining are just bitter assholes with nothing better to do with their lives. Most likely they are the people who's reflexes have aged dramatically since starting playing this game hears ago and they need to attack the game. Freeze is a good example of this, recently even his own fans have just been pointing out even while the game's numbers have been the highest it's been in years the "good" players are just being miserable sacks of shit for the most part because they are bitter at this point.

Doesnt BP already do that? When they are around u and u get the shield throw on one enemey the attack after it is UB and u can hit the other ones. So the only special thing about this new charactor (her shield) is kinda pointless when u have BP already. Or am I missing something here?

They need to rework death match. Elemeniation should be without any feats and without any boosts. So pure fighting skill. And no teams. 8 players and all against each other. Skirmish should be reworked so that the maps of that game mode are more like the castle indoor one where there are fire bowls all over the map that people are throwing down, but u have to go on the walls to use them, and u can easily get letged up there. Thats some brillant map disign for a quick team based deathmatch game. And I hope they make all the maps for skirmish like that, and not points, but kills to win and get the other team into "breaking" mode. Thats what I want to see so that the game does not get boring inbetween the long pauses of new events or hero drops.

I don't give a f, about gender locks or any Goofy shit. I. Just asked for more steel for us all, and you're tweaking, lol. Being the best doesn't mean become complacent, without battle pass system they wouldn't give much, you have to spend money in order to make money on for honor. Material or outfits are 10k plus. That's insane for new folks with no friends etc, make it friendly steel wise and people will join up.

I LOVE this character. She’s like an mmo style tank in for honor. Definitely gonna be a day 1 buy hopefully the rest of the community likes her

OLD BATTLE PASSES COMING BACK? LETS GOO Year 4 is the year I took off for honor and it figures that it has by far my favorite passes they've done. I've always been against limited time content, battle passes, and fomo in general in all games so it's absolutely amazing to see this. Big W from the boys in the studio with this one

The new maps thing is so huge. I always said they were wasting the potential of the skirmish maps because pretty much *all* of them had the potential to be turned into Dominion maps. Bois, we are gonna be eating GOOD this fucking year. Fuck yeah let's fucking GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BRO

I found my next rep 70 character, and I don't see myself dropping her. She has all of the tools I personally like in a hero, with a lot of personality to go with it. I can't wait to buy her. And don't forget to support the game, Kenzo had the right point, the more we show that we support them the faster they'll release more content and even if they don't release it faster the past few characters show that they'll put more effort into the hero.

She seems to have a really good design simple yet effective and actually embodies being a heavy character the only thing I don’t like is the enhanced superior lights but I understand why they put them on her

I actually find the character's moveset nuanced and balanced enough so far - like heavy aramusha but tweaked enough to not feel like a buffed copy. Feels like a W so far.

I am excited. Nothing bad to say about her. The support mechanics are going to be great in Breach.

As a HUGE viking and norse/nordic mythology and culture nerd. I am SOOOOOO HYPED for this hero. I got for honor for pc awhile ago and havent touched it for awhile. Last time i was on it i had a bunch of gear boxes. Now i know where all of them gonna go. And who i am gonna main. My money was on a Jomsviking hero but this is even cooler. The weapons and shields though look cool i like to stick to a more grounded appearance. But all in all everything about this hero i love.

This new hero’s coming out by the time i graduate my AIT in the army, this’ll be a nice welcome

I love the idea of a support hero but when they said it never happened before my first thought was… *GRYPHON*😊

Only L for me is gender lock because I wanted to be creighton from dark souls 2 but still hella excited to play her and what’s to come this year

With them focusing on Eastern European on this one, the Teutonic Knights, the Mamelukes, maybe even the Mongols? There are so many more factions and characters to use here. I’d love to see a Jaguar warrior from South America, or a Zande warrior from Africa. If they do Africa though they could also do Carthaginian’s (there’s a legionary already) or even the Nubians, who were never conquered.

I've always wanted a buffer support hero in the game and seems like Varangian is going to be it. Seems like Medjay and JJ mains are going to quit the game because her full guard stun locks them for half the fight. It also seems like her crushing counters are going to have to be respected and baited because of her 2nd feat (unsure yet of what her other feats are so we cannot say for certain whether everyone will use it). Overall I like her character design a lot. It is derivative with the 2 hit chain and bash, but her full guard is not oppressive and is actually semi-skill based (also is her front dodge attack a Afeera clone?).

She has a dodge counter move it seems, if you slow it down during her dodge attack, you can see it

I’m still waiting on the knights to get a rapier wielding hero like how have we not gotten a duelist of that nature LOL. New character looks sick tho!

I do wish she was a stance switcher between 2 handing the axe and one handing it with the shield but I like the character and the moveset still.

Centurion is always gonna be my boi, my second favorite is definitely going to be this hero ⚔️

Character looks good but feels like it will get old quickly and no male version is a common ubi L. They were exclusively only men.

The only bad thing about the stream is the audio mixing. I found it difficult to hear the devs. But when I raise the volume they move to the next section and I'm greeted with IMAX level music shattering my eardrums.

Combos look pretty good, curious how the bash will be after the UB heavy. Feats look kinda ehh, pretty much just Ocelotl’s feat for 2 and 3. Feat 1 looks amazing, feat 4 is cool I guess, it’s whatever. Wish we got more throwables or attack based feats since this is our bad ass warrior for Vikings, guess this is gonna be more of a paladin or like a Kirkland brand griffin character

With ubisoft neglecting the passionate employees they have, you make a good point about supporting with our wallet. We had quite a few years of a good game without the pass and at this point it feels like its a way to basically show it's worth investing into. The game's players and development team are PASSIONATE, even if thier higher ups aren't. Overall though I am super excited. I've been playing since the testing days and this season is a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to play her
