but as i mentioned at the begining of the video i'm always only talking about the varangian guards vet tree on the tight was the full mid and on the left was the full top then mid and the screen wasn't split then i try to write which Vet tree is on the screen at the moment

IMPORTANT NOTE There has been a hot fix 5/9/2022 VG now are AWESOME and they are the only SS tier unit in the Game able to literally kill any other unit and tank any other unit except back charge from Cav

This comment needs an update the VG are back to being B+tier They die so quickly even with ironside doctrine on them They dont heal that much nor deal damage fast

@@ELITE_LEGIONS_CB is the bottom tree got good defense still. The reduce range damage is tempting due to high amount of different range units in play and mix like the janjus,javelins, and axe raiders.

Hey Elite, qq for you - are varangian guards worth getting right now? I think you rated them as A tier at some point (maybe a month or two ago?), are they still A tier do you think?

They are barely an A tier specially if you have very good docs for them however the new unit will over shadow them and reapers as well I mean maidens gonna get wrecked vs men at arms now without hero intervention So the game is shifting toward boosting tier 4 at the moment.

This has to be a joke..if u use it well varangians actually kill most units instantly with minimal loss..modao and iron reaper charge barely do anything to them under their shield passive

Chill this video is before their huge buff :3 Right after release

YEYEYE in tests like this 1vs1 they seems very good. In reality (siege) They do nothing and just silentely die :D For now not worth using.

they have a steep learning curve and they are Barely an A tier unit till now their only use is clearing out points of weak enemies or engaging solo units in skirmish or VS any pikes Note they are verry weak vs heroes

Ya but they are nerfed badly in terms of their defence I used to olay silahdars a lot But they cant sustain a battle vs cc units So a hero with zerkers of gray hair can easily wipe them out

No reason to use that unit than I won't bother unlocking them

Why do greyhairs do so much damage to the varagians. this game is so buggy, doesnt explain anything and there are hundreds of broken exploits.

true grayhair always deal that so much damage when they use the 2nd skill they have "last stand" which gives them a nice burst that can quickly take doen some enemies specially breserkers but after that their damage is okay and you can tank it with any other unit the game is full of exploits and that's why we are here to help you discover them all =3 ^ ^ "note" this video is old and varangian guards are awesome S Tier =3
