Varanasi Street Food Tour with Anubhav | देव दीपावली Celebration | INSIGHT of Banaras
Dev Deepawali is the festival of Kartik Poornima celebrated in Varanasi, on the full moon of the month of Kartik, i.e. November- December. We made our way to the Ghats of Banaras for this beautiful spectacle.
We started the day at Pappu Tea Stall with a Ginger Lemon Hajmola Tea. This unique cup of tea is the perfect sweet and spicy digestive drink and is great to awaken your sense early in the morning. Our next stop for simple Banarasi breakfast- Kachori and Jalebi. We landed at Chachi Kachori Shop for some delicious Kachori and Sabji. This place is famous for the food they serve and is a favourite amongst the office goers in the area. Then we tried the Jalebi along with some Dahi for sweet yet not too sweet end to this meal!
We went on to try the famous lassi at Shiv Prasad Lassi Bhandar. The lassi here is thick, sweet and creamy and is topped off with some cream and rabri. This super thick concoction is very soothing to the palate especially if you've had something hot and pungent.
Our next stop was in Sigra at a shop called Popular Baati Chokha. The Baati os a dough stuffed with sattu, dals and then cooked over cow dung cakes. The chokha is made from eggplants, potatoes and tomatoes. This is the perfect spicy combination and on the whole it may not look like a lot but this dish is quite wholesome. Lastly how could we end the day without having some paan. So we went Keshav Tambul Bhandar for a classic Banarasi Paan.
In the evening we attended the Dev Deepawali Puja, which is a humongous religious celebration and people from all over the world come to Varanasi to witness this Puja. The celebratory atmosphere, the lights and the happiness on people's faces is worth visiting Banaras at least once in your life!

Sirji apka video bohot hi zyada achcha hai Main bhi banaras ka hi hoon but around 8 saal se sweden mien hoon studies k liye Bilkul ghar ki yaad dila diye aap aj Great work and hats off to you and your team♥️
The owner of apple pie shop is so down to earth.. even after listening to praise of apple pie he is so humble that he just nods..also that man who went to bring the curd while having morning jalebi is a true gem of banaras..and the professor explaining everything so fluently and magnetically it automatically develops a sense of respect towards the professor.he is cherry on top.. such a wonderful city Banaras and the people are so awesome..would love to visit the city.. anubhav this video is one next level..🔥
I Am Hindu and I really wish I could. Live there. The people r so simple so graceful so down to earth. But most importantly Bhai unme APNAPAN ka eshas hota hai....
Video presenting History/Culture with food vlog count me in... Dhanyawad bhaiyya Varanasi ko itne sundar tareeke se prastut karne ke liye, Foreigners can cover food beautifully lekin Jo sanskriti ki sugandh wo kisi apne se hi aa sakti hai... 🙏
you are a true critic of bhojpuri culture which is some where lost in modern era... keep you good work always...
Anubhav sir, the gentleman with you during kachori jalebi had a really amazing personality. Loved his presence. Keep up the good work.
The beginning started off well with us getting introduced to the name of the city by the gentleman at the start of your blog! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
मैं इश्क़ लिखूं, तुम बनारस समझना ❤️

Not correct. The what of food is not important.Whats important is where.I am a subscriber of visa 2 explore too.His vlogs are good but not in the league of delhi food walks in terms of food covered. His is more of a travel vlog now and in any case he has zero understanding of food..in fact thats his charm. So you are incorrect.

This is the best vedio on banaras. The explaining on banarsi life the food dev deepavali and chachi ki gaalian were awesome😊
Love Varanasi Dev Bhumi jiwan ka asli mahtav samjhati moksh dhaam mast Magan log with very testy food.
Varanasi is a holy India itself with a big river and bathers. It is an image I have in India that began with yoga. But India was taught in this video series, it was an infinitely diverse country. Indian food is characterized not only by spices like curry but also by yogurt and sweets. Besides, ice cream is also delicious. I'm still interested in India. Thank you, God. "

Oh... this is my favourite episode... Loved it. Can see it n no. times...
Omg this Uncle is soo good. Just wanna listen to him . He's never ending story teller.
Banaras meri janmbhoomi h. Ab naukri k liye bahar rehna padta hai. Par ye bat sach h ki jo bat bnaras me h, wo kahin nhi. Bade bade shahar to door door tak najr bhi nhi aate iske samne. Aj bhi agr banaras lautne ka mauka mil jae to turant jaege. Pta nhi mahadev kab wapas bulaege.
Don't know why such good videos get so less amount of likes Thumbs up for your work sir ! ❤
This one is the best episode I've seen in your channel. Thanks for connecting culture, food & people.
