Well, that is an amazing phenomenon! Hot snow. Chase, "It's snowing, that's not cool". No doubt when you get further south you will have nice sunny weather that is cool, not hot.....

he is always cool haha his happy place is under a blanket for sure.

The UP is our place to go in the winter for snowmobiling. So many trails, and so much fun...and so beautiful!

If you would have kept coming North you would have ended up in Sault Ste. Marie, and if the borders were open you could have come to Canada to visit the Canadian Sault, where I live. All of our hiking trails are dog friendly, but it's snowing here too. I'm so jealous that you get to drive to someplace warm while I'm looking at the start of 6 months of winter, lol. So glad you're sharing your travels with us all. Drive safely :-).

@@mariajoseandchase When the borders are open again you should come back. I can show you a walking trail right in the city where the chickadees are so friendly they'll eat right out of your hand :-). Mackinac Island in the UP is also really pretty and would make a nice vlog...it's an old fashioned touristy Island where no cars are allowed so you either have to walk, or rent a horse or bikes. They even have bicycles built for two. :-)

For the dr bronners it needs a foaming hand pump, then you mix it with water. 1/4 bronners 3/4 water is the ratio I think. Hopefully that will help you not get anymore soap in your eyeball lol 😂

I second this! Grew up in the up, currently living in MN! I havent had a chance to make it up that far, but if it's on the lake superior shoreline, it's got to be beautiful 😍

I read that you need to use bronner in the foam hand pumps, not the regular ones. Try it and see if that works better.

The biggest issue I noticed that in van life parking and safety. Enjoyed yum delicious food 🥩 🥦 Broccoli beef and crispy tofu

I watch a lot of van life on youtube. Yours is the first that is in the US. It seems the US is more restrictive. I was surprised that your dogs were not allowed on the trail and that you have trouble some times finding a place to park overnight. Europe seems to be more flexible and welcoming to van life. I think I'd be discourage to travel in the US and would prefer Europe, even northern Africa. You do lovelly filming. Best to you both, Jane, Philadelphia

It will make the soap last longer. I think the instructions for that is on the bottle it’s shelf. I usually get a gallon of it and use it for practically everything you clean with and it last for a long time.

We totally do! The rain follows us. We brought abnormal rains to Quartzite, Ehrenberg, Sonoita and Apache Junction Arizona between January and April 2019 and we spent 6 weeks in San Diego, with rain almost 4 days per week and highs around 50 in February. We can’t manage to escape it, but we’re hoping that cycle will pass.
