The first thing I noticed was how nice the Iranian people are, and then I read the comments and loved how others agreed. I have noticed the same thing with other van lifers traveling thru Mexico & Central/South America, the people are so kind, generous, and helpful. I am beginning to believe that our own government has engaged in a propaganda against its own people, as in us, by having us believe there is much to be feared by anyone not white. I am frustrated by this.

Vikings were coming to Iran from the north of the Caspian Sea, and raiding the land for centuries, during the peak of Viking expansion in the medieval era, 7th and 8th cen. AD. Iranians called Vikings thunder and lightning, for they came on longboats, ravaged the land, packed everything up, jumped back on the boat, and returned before the local rulers even noticed. During that time, many Vikings remained in the region and became Iranians; mostly Finnish, Swedish, and also Rus people. Today they live in Gilan, Mazandaran, and Ardabil regions. Less than 100 km East of these mountains. So if they traveled a little east they could see Scandinavian cousins there! 😆😍💚🤍❤️

Experience different weathers from cold and snowy weather to mild weather and even the galaxy nights of its deserts. Iran is the best country for traveling and recreation and visiting natural and historical attractions and different cultures as well as delicious foods that are famous in the world. Those painted mountains also exist in few other areas in Iran. And in 3 other sites on earth, Zhangye National Geopark in China, Hornocal mountain range in Argentina and Ausangate mountains in Peru. Based on research, these mountains are said to be the result of millions of years of minerals and sandstone being pressed together and oxidized. Summer is the best season for capturing the colors; especially when the sun shines with a straight angle, for that maximum glow. * by the way, you guys have done a wonderful job with your Iran documentaries. The two of you guys make a very good team, and are very addictive to watch.
