Vanilla Un'Goro Crater - Music & Ambience (1 hour, 4K, World of Warcraft Classic)

Lush Un'Goro Crater ("God Lands" in the Qiraji language) lies at the southern part of Southern Kalimdor, between Tanaris, Silithus and Uldum. Although the area is almost completely isolated from the rest of the world and sandwiched between three deserts, the region is filled with exotic plant life and even more exotic creatures, from peaceful earth elementals to raging devilsaurs, the locals are not to be trifled with.
The pylons on the ridges of the crater defy explanation, despite close examination. They could mark where the titans might reappear during their second visit to Azeroth, a visitation supported by holograms in both Uldaman and the front of Uldum. These pylons could also share the same purpose as the pillars in Sholazar Basin, too. The Avatar of Freya, the Lifewarden, mentions that Un'Goro is a similar place to Sholazar, where the titans were performing experiments to create new life forms in Azeroth.
Un'Goro Crater was revealed to have some connection with the titans by Geologist Larksbane during the Ahn'Qiraj solo quests.
Un'Goro is a massive crater full of amazingly lush jungle and teeming with life. Dinosaurs roam freely here, as the land is wild and unpredictable. At the center of the crater a volcano rises, and Fire Elementals prowl. In addition, many strange and beautiful crystals dot the landscape, their purpose unknown to most but an object of research for some of the adventurous scientists camped in the area
Classic / Vanilla Un'Goro Crater WoW Music tracks are always marked in the video. You will be able to hear them first at:

I remember fucking around in Tanaris as a 13-14 year old not really understanding anything. And a guy about ten levels higher was standing on the ramp. I asked what was down there, and he just said “Don’t go down there. You’ll die.” I didn’t listen. That was my first Un’goro Experience.

I know that, once again, it looks like I'm 3 years late to the comments, but this is by far my favorite place in WoW. I spent a very long time in ungoro crater with my blood elf rogue, and seeing this again after all this time, man. It's nostalgia kicking me in the face.

The strongest single memory i have from the game was the patch that put weather into the game. I happened to be a mid 50's feral wondering around killing shit....and then it started to rain. So without really thinking i went and stood under a tree for "shelter", in the mist a devilsaur pathed past (just outside of aggro range) and ignored me. I stood there for ages until the rain stopped just absorbed in the moment. Some time later blizz removed the weather (never knew why) i stopped playing for years then. Always end up back though...

This was the place I acquired my first epic item. It was a world drop from one of the tar pit creatures. I was a druid questing with 2 paladains. Eventually we went out separate ways. 2 minutes later the taran icebreaker drops. I was just sat there for a least 2 or 3 minutes with my mouth open catching flys. As a 2h mace it would have been amazing for the paladins so I was kinda pleased they left lol. Druids can use them too but far from optimal. I did ponder selling it on the AH but wheres the glory in that!! So i equipped it and flew straight to ironforge to stand proudly on the mailbox outside the auction house to /dance. EPIC!!!!

I remember my first epic. It was the Gutripper dagger. It dropped off a pirate just outside of Booty Bay on the beach. I sold it for 144 gold. At the time, my warrior was level 40-something. It was an incredible amount of gold back then. Back in Vanilla, epic items were actually super rare and epic. Once you got rolling in a good 40-man team every week that could farm MC and BWL, then the epics started flowing. Many, many people would stand around in Org and just show off their gear. People wanted to look at it, too. No transmog back then, and being a raider actually meant something. Being part of a guild and committing to it.
