God, seeing the Diorite/Granite/Andesite bricks makes me wish those were in the game. Hopefully 1.17 comes in clutch and adds them.

Sadly they won't, they said they don't want to give you an overwhelming amount of block options to build out of and want you to be more creative and use what you're limited to. They talked about it on the Minecraft channel in a Q & A while discussing 1.17

About time we get a good looking white wall block. Please Mojang I'm tired of using andesite walls.

Sunflowers do all face the sun though. I personally wouldn't use the one where the flowers change directions. The sunflower will die if it isn't facing the sun. I know minecraft isn't exactly realistic, just my thought and opinion Edit: and I think that is what is so fantastic about vanilla tweaks. You can customize the things you like so easily.

I would love a before and after image while previewing textures, it has always irked me that I don't actually know what is being changed. Kind of like they have on the correct item holding positions one. Also more compatibility between packs would be awesome too.

For those who are wondering, you cannot silk touch infested blocks to pick them up.

Love the unlit campfires, i think they would look really cool as raftors in a building

2 ideas to improve Vanilla Tweaks: • it would be nice if the file names would fit to the kind of addition it gives, e.g. the 3D rails-zip file would have a name like this. This would be nice for an easier removal of one file if you decide differently later, by now it's very hard to see what file causes what function • it also would be nice if the door and trap doors with windows would be split up in every kind of wood, so you can decide which one you want to have with window and which one not. By now all my doors have windows which sometimes is not what I want. Only a suggestion. ;) Thank you a lot (to the whole Vanilla Tweaks team) for doing such a great work!

It took me awhile but I finally realized you wear the doomslayer as a skin

Is there a way to make dropped items blink before disappearing? Maybe it blinks for the last 15 seconds, then even faster for the last 5? Currently there is no way of knowing how long an item has been on the ground

if you're okay with using a mod, there's a fabric mod that does that, forget what it's called but it shouldn't be too hard to find

I love the bricks!

Lots of really cool stuff this time around. I really like that change to fireplaces and the spectral arrows tweak. Still hoping for a connected texture for glass in the future! Optifine doesn’t work with some of the stuff I have on my client and connected glass textures is the one thing I haven’t been able to find anywhere else.

Please add support for 1.8.9! I would pay for it at this point, and the version is the most used version other than whatever the latest version at the time. The PVP community would love this!

Wish that the colored slime was consistent with the sides of the sticky pistons.

Great tweaks there. I know this one might feel a little cheaty, but I really want a vein miner tweak on there. I use one to help the grindy bits feel less grindy and I enjoy it more.

when you shoot arrows the particals look like the arrow (the colors of the arrow) so maybe change the particals of the shooting when you shoot a spectral arrow

I would love the granite, diorite and andesite bricks. Like you could craft the bricks from polished versions of the stones pretty much like blackstone works.

If you silk touch infested blocks you will get a non-infested block.

the infested stone tweak is very useful with Quark. You can get infested stone from monster box mobs

Here's a suggestion for Vannila Tweaks (If it is possible with a resource pack): Whenever 4 jungle, dark oak, or spruce saplings are placed next to each other in a square, the combine into one sapling

In the colored slime pack, it doesn't combine with the side sticky piston pack, the front will be colored slime but the side will still be green slime.

The iron bar flickering fix is glorious

Yo X!! I had a suggestion: there should be an option for the sticky piston sides to match the custom slime color. I noticed previously that if a different color (say blue) is selected for the overall slime color, the sticky piston sides remain green.

As far as I know the connected textures require optifine to work so that would be pointless.

@@Eric.-. But I want it as an resource pack because I play with the fabric modloader and optifine is incompatible with the other mods. I think that it is my laptop's problem that whenever I play with optifine instead of increasing the fps it reduces the fps. Normally I get an average of 30 fps but with optifine even with low settings I get 10-15 fps and sometimes even 0 fps.

Xisuma, you should make a pack that can make the Minecraft panorama be anything. All you have to do is take a screenshot, insert it into whatever the place you need to insert it for it to become the panorama, then zoom in it, and make the image moving. This should also be easily customizable. For example, you could stop the panorama from moving around or maybe zoom it in really far if you wanted to. But that’s just suggestions and I won’t say you have to do everything I say.

If it's possible, the new types of bricks should be added as a new block, not just replace their polished counterpart. Also a cracked variant as well as stairs and slabs would be awesome. I'm sure these are already being thought of or worked on but great work on the new packs!!
