He's treating her nicely both off and on camera, don't worry, it may sometimes come across as being mean for some viewers but Dona genuinely loves and cares for Oda. They both like to joke/tease with each other and they both have great sense of humour. Oda knows Dona's worth and his personality and vice versa so just enjoy it as an entertainment rather than giving advice to them. It was obvious that Dona was offended by something Oda had said which he didn't disclose so we as an audience only saw the reaction/aftermath but we don't know why Dona was hurt in the first place. From the video, it is obvious that Oda regrets what she had said/done to Dona. Dona just played tit for tat for fun that's it. No big deal.

Oda is also equally lucky if not more to have someone like Dona in a foreign country. You can see how much Dona truly cares for Oda too despite the jokes he cracks on Oda and pretends to be mean to her in reel but in real life he does truly love and respect her, in my opinion.
