Mr.Tim Bogert, you were one of the heaviest and most technical bass players in the world. I loved your playing. Thank you for entertaining me for so long. May you rest in peace.
Great Performance!!! Carmine Appice is a great Drummer! Singing drummer!!!

I heard that John Bonham (my favourite drummer of all time) learnt his unique playing style from being on tour with Vanilla Fudge and this drummer :o
2022-People Get Ready and You Keep Me Hangin' On still take my breath away-spine tingling performances!! Love the keyboard notes- they reach into your mind and heart. Great harmony!! Incredible how they can take a well known song, and totally infuse it with their music, heart, soul, and passion, making it their own, including the Backstreet Boys' Tearin' up my heart. BB version was sweet and smooth, VF men gave it the Wow!
one of my best psychedelic rock and roll bands from the late 60s, even though I am a faithful old-school heavy metal fan, I still enjoy psychedelic-progressive hard rock bands from that era; and VANILLA FUDGE has been one of the best heavy progressive/psychedelic rock and roll band.
I had an off / on relationship with Bogert for over 30 years. I was shocked to hear that he passed...the world lost an amazing, complicated and extremely talented man and I will miss him very much...so will this world.

Yeah what a bummer. I my mind I thought he would have been around for a while never meet him but My keyboard player played with him a few times. I met Vince Martel at a gig. Before this video. Everybody was on board with doing a reunion except Mark. I glad to see they did it here.Tim In my mind is one of the most outstanding bass players. c]8-(

On lonely days listening to these songs, it was Tim's bass which seemed to talk to you. He certainly defined a new medium others used to become names as well..
Carmen is a really good dude. I was just a kid in the late 70's and he spent a little time with me and even taught me how to spin sticks.
WOW Masterpiece! Those Were The Days! RIP Mr Tim Bogert, we miss you.
I feel honored that I was able to see Tim Bogart in his prime in 68 with the Vanilla Fudge it was a great show he was always a powerhouse bass player RIP
Saw them then Tim and Carmine with Cactus and Beck, Bogart and Appice. All were awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Watching this clip, I was immediately put in my place. This is true rock royalty. Each mans’ performance is just fkn unbelievable!
Incredibly good..the vocals are just as good as....about 40 years, ago
I definitely recommend this ensemble as the truly original Vanilla Fudge band as we knew them in our 60's school days, with the bluesy sound, the harmonic vocals, the psychedelic advertising, and of course, trendy clothes.

One of the earliest and best groups to break away. A really amazing band
Despite not being its original singer (Mark Stein), I think Bill Pascali has a powerful voice, extremely fine-tuned and a great contribution to the band, just as much as guitarist Rondinelli
Miss you Tim! You made a big difference in my life ❣️ You were my rock performance instructor at MI Musicians Institute Hollywood and spent many hours on stage learning with you! You were a awesome friend and mentor wanted to come visit with you at your Harley shop but waited too long...😢 Missing you big brother! Rest in Peace 🕊️✌️

At M.I. circa 1987. He was my vocal coach and ran the live performances for the students. He was a great influence to me. I was very saddened by his passing. We'll always have these live performances to see him again. May his memory be eternal!
Its getting pretty crowded "upstairs" with very talented people .......... some serious jamming going on. R.I.P. Tim Bogert.
LOVE me some Fudge---now and forevermore!
Wow!!! Thank you for sharing!! What an awesome way to get my Saturday am going!! Love Vanilla Fudge!!❤️💕❤️💕
woah that was intense 🤘🤘👍👍1991 kid here, this is not "old people" music, this kind of music instantly resonates with me 🤘thank you for that

Vanilla Fudge is still Great! People get Ready was my introduction to this phenomenal band!
O wow at first I said Vince took on a new look. I met Vince I think around 2012 and his guitar Playing is unique. He always introduced that late 60s middle eastern sitar riff. I had the same 1961 LP Junior back in the day. I see a lot of them popping up now a days. I was shocked to hear Bogart Died. I loved that little Motown thing he yank in there.Wished I would have spoken to him.He use to hang in some of the clubs in my neighborhood in the 70s.Thanks for sharing enjoyed watching this. c];-)
I grew up listening to these guys. A force to be reckoned with.
It's brilliant. True musicians.
Will be one of my favorite bands.. Vanilla Fudge sound great as ever...🌵
Wow, They're older but they still have it, i'm impressed! Can't keep a good rocker down.👍
How epic this would be with Mark and Vinnie....Carmine and Tim hitting it out of the park. R.I.P Tim.....
Carmine Appice has a really good voice on People Get Ready!!
I love you Tim Bogert.

Schicker Konzertmitschnitt! Lernte VaFu in den Siebzigern durch meinen zwölf Jahre älteren Bruder kennen - wie so viele andere Bands auch... Danke Hannes, Du alter Finanzrocker!
WOW, I didn't know that the drummer Carmine Appice can sing... I mean really sing!!!!

Qué pasión en la interpretación!!! Simplemente genial!!!
Soulful and rockin' just like always . Thanks for the memories .
When I saw "Do you think I'm sexy" on the set list, I thought "oh nooo!", but thank God they gave it the Vanilla Fudge treatment.

Wow these guys sound great, this show was great!
A 'Vanilla Fudge" concert sounds real nice. One difference is 'The Beatles' have acheived legendary status in the whole world 'Vanilla Fudge' hasn't, to me they have, and all of the 'Fudge' offshoots; for example: 'Cactus,' etc:.
MI 1987..Thanks Tim:) you were the ruler
I adore Tim Bogert ⚡️💙✨
People Get Ready, ein wunderbarer Song, der auch heute immer noch fantastisch von der Band präsentiert wird. Wie Carmine einmal sagte, we are the first Boygroup ever....!
Love that one extra beat in intro (and outro) of Keep Me Hangin' On. Some of you know which one.
This is a delight to discover. I was friends with Teddy back in the day, classmates at Comsewogue HS, Class of 1975. Great guy & a stunning guitarist even back then. More than merely pyrotechnics, he is a master of TONE.
☺INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING, MORE!!
One of the Greatest bands to ever play Detroit, the Rock & Roll capital of the world.✌🌐 # I love saying that.
Thanks to whoever posted this full show. This was an excellently produced recording. I've been searching for a definitive version of YKMHO. The ones from the 60's are so fucking cool but the ones from the 21st century are better quality. The saddest part is the breaks where the band waits for the crowd to sing along and it's all these dudes. A far cry from when the band all wore lace and ladies filled the front row.
