This game had next to no cutscenes and most of the story was told via in-game radio dialog. I want to provide this video as a complete source for the entire Vanguard Zombies story. So the people who do want to catch up with what happened in Vanguard can find the video.
Please note that there is even more story in the game via intel radios, but this would be too much to integrate into one video. I wanted this video to be strictly about the main quests of all 4 zombies experiences from Vanguard Zombies.

The Dark Aether Story is part of a rebooted universe in Call of Duty Zombies. It includes the games Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Vanguard so far. Meaning no further knowledge from the older games (Call of Duty World at War - Black Ops 4) is needed to understand the story.

I like how the Professor had nothing to say about our victory, guy talks nonstop yet he barely says anything about the win we just got. Guess he's too busy thinking about his spouse

I love how Korti boy quite literally falls into a hole. I actually let out a laugh when I saw it.
I barely understand this story and how it fits into zombies but i do have to say i love the voice acting for the demons

Story is straight forward, Kortifex and von list starts his zombie stuff, we stop them with our own demons In the end, the events were rather small scale so they were mostly forgotten besides a few intel pieces in cold war After vanguard the demons are back in the dark aether. And our world is free from zombies until omega re activates the cyclotron Zykov has not gotten into the dark aether yet when kortifex dies, so when in cold war intel zykov found a dead giant that looked like it had been in battle he likely found kortifex Zykov started consuming flesh and became more and more powerfull, possibly eating some of the other demons and maybe even getting some power from the construct (the big rock machine in archon that made kortifex giant) So overall while the story doesnt do a lot, quite a few things do click into rather well into some of the stuff in the cold war intel
I liked the ending cinematic for The Archon

God I hope this shit gets retconned out of existence when the next Treyarch title comes out. This is just a bastardization of the new Dark Aether storyline that Cold War started.
