The Tegos Tapes es un ejemplo interesante de una banda sonora oscura e inédita de Vangelis, desconocida incluso por muchos de sus fanáticos más devotos. Las cintas de Tegos fueron producidas originalmente por el profesional médico griego Dr. Stergios Tegos y contienen ejemplos educativos de su trabajo de microneurocirugía. Este conjunto de cintas VHS no fue diseñado para su distribución general al público, ya que estos videos de capacitación estaban destinados principalmente a estudiantes de cirugía en capacitación u ofrecidos a otros microneurocirujanos a través del Dr. Tegos exclusivamente. I wish Laura (Vangelis' wife) give us the chance to discover tons of music from our maestro. She doesn't need money 💰. Tegos Tapes, all the suites from the 80's, and so on. Whatever it costs, we all know the best is still unreleased.

This is the music I extracted and remixed directly from the Micro-neurosurgery Videotapes of Dr. Stergios Tegos, a long time friend of Vangelis, that asked him two things: to obtain a magnetic resonance image of Vangelis brain and to compose music for his operations recorded in the videotapes. He satisfied only the second. It´s been suggested that this videos contain 12 hours of Vangelis music. I find this inaccurate, because the full length of them is 10 hours 18 minutes without taking away Dr. Tegos voice. Taking the voice out, and re-editing and remixing the music of the 35 cases so it could develop an atmosphere, leaves 8 hours 53minutes 57 seconds of Vangelis music.
