For several years I stopped watching figure skating because it became so routine and boring but Vanessa and Morgan has brought me back to watching the sport. Their performance is electrifying. Correct no falls! There were mistakes, however, they skated beautifully. So, not perfect, but they are the perfect couple!

MAGNIFIQUE!!! This is my favorite performance from them. I wish they could come back to perform together again. They were pure majesty.

Vanessa and Morgan have it all..grace, athletic, strength, trust, synchronization and a visible chemistry that propels them far above all others. I could go on and on but their skating truly tells their story. Wherever they are now I pray they are safe and happy. 🌟 🌟 ❤❤👵

The Golden Boy and Girl, Morgan and Vanessa, were beautiful couple on the ice! They had chemistry connections and feelings when they looked each other, wished they were real couple in life too 💞 🙏

This is a wonderful performance in which Morgan and Vanessa demonstrated how skillful and tough they are, because they had just travelled from Canada to Paris. In Paris, they had to travel through the Alps with all that altitude to perform in this competition. Wonderful performance guys inspite of you being so tired. May God's protection be always around you as you strive to reach the goal you have set for yourselves. Be BLESSED, and lots of love.

How i wish they can skate again for the last time for their million of fans. I really love them both! They are the best, unforgetable pair in figure skating! Why in God’s name this skating phenomenon has been hidden from the world stage??? I cannot believe they never participated in any Olympics Games. What a shame 😢.

They have not been hidden. These 2 are Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres. They skated together for for France for 10 years on a national and international level. They performed in 2 Olympics in 2014 and 2018 comming 10th and 5th place respectively. They were very successful and won many acolades/ medals (golds, silvers, bronzes) They were the 2019 European Champions. At the height of their career they hsd 3/4th world placement. They skated for France until their retirement in September 2020. Vanessa then came out of retirement the following year in 2021 and after being released by France she skated for Canada teaming up with Eric Radford and together performed in the 2022 Olympics..they gained 12th placement. Vanessa once again has retired as she is now 34 years old. .I believe Vanessa now lives in Canada as she is Canadian by birth with Bermudian,French and British nationally. Morgan who is French by birth and is 30 years old lives in France. Since his retirement, he no longer skates and is now a real estate manager.

I am a great fan of ice skating and watch competitions every chance I get, especially during the Olympics. I’m sorry, but again, I had never heard anything about these two. It seems hard for me to believe that they in fact did compete in the 2014 and 2018 Olympics and only won 10th and 5th place on that world stage. Vanessa did openly voice her opinion that racism was a major factor in the stagnation of their career. As I have stated, I watch the ice skating competitions frequently yet there had never been any promotion or introduction of Vanessa and Morgan being the highly talented and gifted skating team that they were. In my opinion, they should go down in history as the greatest of all time, respectively. ❤️👏🏆

@@sharonthomas499 You are correct they should have won higher placements and accolades more often and yes I do believe institutional racism played a pivotal role in keeping them back. However they were well known nationally and internationally in the skating world. They had millions of followers/fans. I flowed them from 2015 until they retired in 2020. Allthough Vanessa came out of retirement and skated with another partner for 17 months the creation of beauty, oneness, excitement, creativeness, skill, chemistry, romance and seductiveness that they had together could not be recreated. I believe that is why their videos are still being viewed at such a high level 2 years after their partnership ended. Vanessa was a single skater in the earlier part of her career. She skated firstly for the US, then for the UK then for France and lastly for Canada. Vanessa has multiple citizenships...Canadian which is her place of birth, Bermudian from her father's place in birth, UK as Bermuda is a British territory, US where she lived from age 10 and also French citizenship which she gained in 2009. Whilst skating as a single skater for the UK after 3 years she changed to pairs skating in 2008 which only lasted for 8 months. She then had a successful trial for the French team and moved there in late 2008 to skate with a black pairs skater Bonheur. That parthership lasted for nearly 2 years. Vanessa then paired up in late 2010 with 19 year old Morgan Cipres who up until then was a single skater in the French Team. For the first 5/6 months Morgan had to learn all the elements of pairs skating before he and Vanessa entered their first professional competition. Vanessa and Morgan have certainly had a journey together in their on the ice.. as well as off the ice, as they were also romantically involved for 2 years during the earlier part of the their partnership. They stopped dating but remained skating partners and close friends off the ice. They are still missed. There are 100's of videos of them on KZread from 2010 to 2020. There are also several videos of Vanessa with her other 2 pairs skaters before and after she was with Morgan.

Again, I had never heard of Vanessa or Morgan until I stumbled upon them recently on KZread. In my opinion, they are the finest skating pair of all time. I feel cheated from being able to enjoy the gift that they had together to freely give to the world.

@@sharonthomas499 Yes you are correct in all you have said. They were such a beautiful tallented soulful couple together on the ice. Many are sad that they ceased their romantic relationship but I believe Morgan was a little immature for Vanessa given that she is 4 years older than him. I think by the time Morgan became emotionally matured Vanessa had moved on and so he lucked out. Vanessa previously stated that they both had fiery temperaments and when they had a disagreement in their personal relationship and it affected their concentration in practice as they found it difficult to calm down and focus/give their best to the skating. Vanessa further stated that they both maintained a very close friendship/bond and deep caring for each other..soulmates and that is what is seen in their performance on the ice. She actually said back in 2018 that what we the audience see of them on the ice is not acting but a deep care and bond they have for each other. They lived in each others pocket for 10 years especially during the skating season which was for the larger part of each year..I believe they lived in the same apartment building, cooked and eat together and travelled together to and from the skating rink. Vanessa was close to Morgan's family and stated that Morgan's mum was like her second mum. Morgan also had a good relationship with Vanessa's parents. They actually posted videos of Morgan celebrating Thanksgiving with Vanessa and her family at her parents home in the US. Sharon at least you can view them and their performances and many many interviews in the 100's posted on KZread videos. Stay well and enjoy the journey with them from the rawness of their beginning at ages 19 and 23 to their magnificence by the time they parted at ages 29/33.

Vanessa and Morgan are not married. Since his retirement, Morgan, I believe, has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend in France. Vanessa has retired to Canada.
