One of the best pop songs of its time.

Every time I listen to this song, I think of my friend Jake who used to sing this all the time. It really touches my heart when I hear it because I feel like he's still here and is singing it to me once again. Jake passed away back in August so this song really means a lot to me and helps me remember him

Everytime I listen to this song, it just inspires me to seize the day and enjoy the open blue skies. Run the green grass wild!

Its funny the various elements of any song I'm drawn to. Usually I find myself drawn to a specific lyric or story bit within a song. For this one, I like how the story is of a pleasant day with an ordinary person, but suddenly she finds herself awaking from a dream. We've all had marvelous and pleasant dreams that were so lovely we're a bit stricken when we awake from them.

Love this song. It is so inspiring and easy to relate to. She sings, really sings, her thoughts and they are amazing. Her songs shine.

i love this song :) i remember this song would play on the radio all the time when i was a little kid i wish they'd play it more

I got really into this song even though I wasnt comfortable with the lyrics & then its truth dawned on me much later on when its grip had waned somewhat. Seems like people don't actually listen to the words or follow the thread of the lyrics but she is/they are speaking of a spiritual encounter that portends a deeper & darker meaning. The musical accompaniment & vocal presentation kinda overshadow this aspect. This "ordinary boy" introduces himself in a vision, stirred her curiosity & gained her acceptance then manifests in her reality, with a deal, no less & she was already open! Hmmmm.
