I wish the vid included the part where, before the wives went to help paint houses, Erika tried to get over her tiff with Kathryn by inviting her, LVP & Lisa Rinna over for dinner, and then Kathryn proceeded to act rude af towards Erika and Tom (whom she had just met that night), and then admitted that she ratted out Erika because she “wanted to get a reaction” out of her. Its part of the reason why Erika tore her a new one later on in the ep at the houses.

Listening to Erika say "my husband's lovely" in 2022... aged like fine milk

This was when I loved Erika. She was great for the show at this time.

I really dont get why Erika thought it was suspicious for them to ask how long she's known Yolanda. They knew Erika and Yolanda knew eachother before the show, they were trying to get to know Erika and making small talk. Imo asking about their common denominator (Yolanda) makes sense. Lisa's not the manupulating one, these women are just paranoid.

Ella because she didn’t expect Katherine to go and spill everything to Vanderpump just right after. Lisa would have known eventually but much later and Erica was only getting to know Katherine at that point. It was wrong of Katherine to rat Erica out like that.

Rewatch that ep again; Kathryn was trying to get Erika to open up to her (which she did) and then she went and talked about it with LVP and the others right afterwards. Who wouldn’t be pissed off if they opened up to someone who was actively trying to get them to, and then went and told the exact person that they did NOT trust all about their business?

Mallory Church but in this situation Katherine is an outsider, she sees these women who are meant to be friends, one of them says something that's a bit 'back-stabby' so Katherine confronts the group about it. I'm not saying that it was smart to do so, but Erika didn't have that much reason to get upset.

Wow, i hated this last part of season 6. "Im a grown woman who got manipulated by LVP, have pity for me, forgive me." And Eileen was fishing for a point, poor thing

Since they (annoyingly) can´t break the fourth wall and say that she's manipulative because she plays producer and set up certain situations to look a certain way for the show, they have to make up other reasons. Yolanda said it at her last reunion that Lisa creates situations for the show, and she walks over people and hurts feelings doing so (for example when she said to Brandi to go and talk to and congratulate Scheana on her engagement). That is why she's manipulative.

One of the women on that show does do that, however the person who is on production is not Vanderpump, it is Kyle. If the penny still hasn't dropped for you by now, watch Kyle's interview with Entertainment Today at BravoCon 2019 where in November 2019, the journalist mistakenly reveals his source (Kyle) after explaining what was planned for Season 10 on RHOBH, that included a party with Kris Jenner and Brandi showing up. That episode aired on TV this month in July 2020. The reporter lost track of their words temporarily, and I think their auto pilot mode flipped on when interviewing Kyle and all of that slipped out. Her face dropped and eyes popped when it did lol.

@@Lithio0oma - It's also the social circles LVP is part of. I mean she's a self-made multi-millionaire who built her career as a woman, during a time when it was very much a man's world. She's used to dealing with a lot of businessmen as a business woman, and she's regarded as highly intelligent by others. You don't hear much about them in day to day life, but within their social circles they're a very popular couple. For instance, she knew of Yolanda prior to the show not because she was friends with Yolanda, but because she was very good friends with her former husband Mohammed. She knew PK (Dorit's husband) because they were a part of the same wider social circle in London back when he had a company worth billions. Even with Eden Sassoon, Lisa and Ken were good friends with her father. She does an immense amount of charity work (a lot more than what they admit to on the reality shows) but it's not something that they make a point of bragging about, they simply just get on with it and do it. Back when the show was pitched to producers by Kyle, it was initially supposed to be a show about the Hilton sisters (Kathy, Kim and Kyle) that followed their lives similar to the Kardashian show, but Kathy ended up pulling out of it and Kyle didn't want to lose the opportunity to have a tv show (as she's actually one of the producers for RHOBH), but they spent quite a lot of time trying to convince Vanderpump to be on it and she had refused them several times initially. Eventually, NBC Universal started trying to convince Vanderpump on the show because they knew that she would come with her social circle that she's a part of too which would open doors to highlight various extravagant lifestyles. One of the bosses from NBC Universal basically went with Vanderpump to the cast roll towards the end and waited for her to be finished with it before asking if she would join them. Being the business woman that she is, and the fact she knows how to negotiate, she set out her terms for doing the show and the parent company agreed to it. So it shouldn't have come as a surprise to people when spin-off shows were starting as her creation because she knows her worth and will want something in exchange for it. The reason Kyle was very friendly with Vanderpump from the start was because she knew a lot of the shows early success will be riding on whether or not Vanderpump would stay. Even Andy Cohen himself has previously said that he agreed to join the RHOBH production not because of Kyle but because he was sold on it by Vanderpump being involved. She really is quite a well-known figure with the socialites in LA and Europe (especially London). Ultimately, her name has a status attached to it, and that's why Vanderpump will always go on the counter offensive when a person questions her integrity, because that is a big deal for her. After the situation with Cedric, that likely caused Lisa to put her guard up against people who would not seem genuine with her (even when she would never call it out), particularly when people would try to get close to her (as many of the women did) for the sake of getting invited into a prestigious social circle of very wealthy people. Both Ken and Lisa simply have a very good life, and all credit to them for creating it for themselves. They're the very definition of a power couple and I think there is a little envy from Erika because she sees that Lisa can be free around Ken and take charge, but if you pay attention to the relationship between Erika and Tom, he will even scold her for speaking when he is speaking (as we saw happen at the dinner) and she will just take it because she knows she is under his thumb. So yes, I think there's a degree of resentment there whether she realises it or not is a different matter though.
