Not really, she is spreading ignorance at the expense of the worlds poorest and most disadvantaged. GMOs have proven to be one of the best ways to improve the livelihoods of poor farmers in the third world. Then again, I doubt this woman has ever understood what it's like to be a poor farmer, or go hungry.

u got no knowledge about it . need pesticides, chemical fertilizers, patented seeds, agricultural machinery lot of investment and in case of loses farmers commit suicide which happened in india , in natural farming which is in india before, destroyed by foreigners now gradually increasing natural farming is saving farmers in india.search for#zbnf and see results . no chemcials no patents, no pesticides, only natural , no investmen, only natural. ur ignorant ass should see intp zbnf farming before talking shit

Monsanto should be banned in India after jailing bosses for being accessory to suicides etc.. All shareholders & employees who benefit from the profits of Monsanto must be listed for all to see.

Monsanto is the best example for a parasite business. A parasite in disguise, provided that the society is sufficiently ignorant about ecological issues to believe in corporate myths like economic growth, Green Revolution, technological progress in agriculture etc.

When I go to burn thier factory wil you join me....

I wonder if there are much of new generation getting into agriculture. As for bio-piracy, local knowledge needs to be guarded, which might be too late, but what ever is still there needs to be controlled. Try extracting local agriculture knowledge from China, they guard it firmly and are very patriotic. Indian companies get sold easily, money comes before national pride, hence that state of affairs there now, sad!! Vandhana is Gandhi of present day, admire her dedication and hard work for the cause.

It is indeed sad that the American company - Monsanto is patenting indigenous seeds. It parallels the stealing by the same country of Yoga and Aurobindo's writing without any credit to the origin. Shame!
