Vancouver is a bustling west coast port city in British Columbia. It is the most densely populated and most diverse ethnic group in Canada. Surrounded by mountains, it is a popular filming location and has a thriving art, theater and music scene. Also in the city is the Vancouver Art Gallery, known for the work of local artists, and UBC Museum of Anthropology, which houses an outstanding collection of indigenous peoples. There used to be a supermarket in Shizuoka, but the only regret is that it is now owned by Chinese capital.
バンクーバーはブリティッシュ コロンビア州に属し、活気溢れる西海岸の港湾都市だ。カナダで最も人口密度が高く、最も多様な民族で構成されている。山に囲まれ、映画の撮影地としても人気が高く、アート、演劇、音楽シーンも盛んだ。また市内には、地元のアーティストの作品で知られるバンクーバー美術館や、先住民の傑出したコレクションを収蔵する UBC 人類学博物館もある。かつては静岡のスーパーがあったが、現在は中国資本になっていたのだけが残念だ。
