i had the twin slash staggered on my Yamaha Stryker, had it on there for four years but couldnt handle the loudness of it riding for hours and hours. No quiet baffle in there either so it was loud loud, like hear me coming from across town loud. Now its nice and smooth stock exhaust

Oh definitely doesn’t sound like it was user error fitting it 😂 please can you rev that more! Like you could do a 10 min vid of that revving out and I’d watch all of it! 😍

Do you happen to have the box or part number for the baffle still? RevZilla suggested the quiet baffle for the V&H slash cuts I ordered. It was a V&H part. Even though I haven't heard it in person, I contemplated getting them to help if it is "too loud".

do you wear earplugs while riding? And if so do you think it ruins the sound at all? Thinking of getting the Trask intake and slash cuts with quiet baffles so just kinda curious? Thanks and awesome vid!

Thanks it’s was much needed

I couldn't justify spending the $80+ per baffle after the $800 for the 2 mufflers. So, I removed the baffles and took a few measurements. Got on Amazon and ordered a set of baffles for less than $15ea and $8ea for the fiberglass packing. The end result was much quieter than what Vance and Hines had for a fraction of the price

I should've noted; Vance and Hines baffles are stainless steel, most aftermarket are stamped steel or aluminized. But you can find stainless if you do a little digging for a few dollars more

Lost a lot of power when I put them in, especially noticeable at higher speeds so I have to downshift more than I did before, but that’ll be due to the baffles restricting the air flow a lot more. 😒

Yeah I talk to people next to the bike you have to talk a little loud but your not screaming

Found it off the site p# 21899. Already installed.... Alot better... Can ride longer without getting a headache

I just realized I ordered 1 instead of 2 😂 smh.

bro it was pain in the butt putting those due to the wrap i ended up cutting a piece off lol i also bended the tip of the baffles when trying to rotate

Don’t letVance and Hines sell you that junk. They’re almost impossible to put in and you really can’t notice much difference. I took mine back off and just drilled the baffles in the stock mufflers.
