I love the design and finishes. I would flip the kitchen to the other side and long bench lounge against the non opening side which would give you a better backrest. That would also give you a view while cooking/doing dishes and most importantly get the stove flame away from the bed and an added plus, with the door open ventilation while cooking.

Beautiful van, I really like the color choices you made but without a bathroom, especially in a cold climate, how does that work? Also having a gas stove right next to your bed - cooking right next to your bedding?? Otherwise it is so nice! Happy trails! 😊

Hi Judith, thank you very much. As for the bathroom, we included a cassette toilet for the buyer to use full time or for emergencies. Being in a cold climate, the heater needs to be on full time to use any water etc., otherwise needs to be emptied/winterized. The stove placement was optimized to have standing space for cutting. Hope this helps 😊

Interesting build. I don't understand the placement of the stove right in front of the bench. How do you cook standing at an angel because the bench seems like it would be in the way. Love the rest of the van.

Thank you very much! ❤️ The thought was with limited space to stand in front of the counter, it would be better to be able to stand and chop veggies in front of you on the open counter, and easier to stand at an angle to hold a spatula and cook. This was the only option for this build since the swivel seats ended up taking kitchen space. We changed up our layout quite a bit in the next one, hope you enjoy ☺️

Nice video. Had you considered using LiFep04 batteries instead of AGM?

Yes we've considered them! We might try them out in a van with no propane 😊

Great job! What hot water heater are you using and where did you buy it? Also where did you buy the cabinet hinges?

I believe this van had a Suburban tankless hot water heater - we like both the Suburban and the Girard tankless hot water heaters. The cabinet hinges are from Richelieu - depending on where you live they have some storefronts or sometimes you can find at Home Depot

Hi! Approximately how many seconds does it take before getting warm water with that heater?

Hey Aron, its produced instantly so just a couple seconds to clear the cold water sitting in the lines before the heater

We used Havelock Sheeps wool insulation and for the water heater we used a Suburban Nautilus tankless water heater 😊

What brand is your skylight? I’m having a hard time accessing one for my van being built.

Yep ill pass on the sitting space ill prefer a shower/toilet makes no sense having all that sitting for guest and everyone has to leave the van so someone can pee or take the portable toilet behind a tree

I'll give you 50 bucks for the van.
