I have danced with my daughter to this song all her life. She is 20 this year & still loves to dance with me to this song. Today she started on her career path. Her parents are mighty proud of her. It's been a huge pleasure to watch this beautiful young lady grow up. We tell her every day we love her.

Heard that Van is really singing towards Jesus, his Savior.

I am African and have always known this song as i was growing up listening to it in Cameroon. But i really fell in love with it while living in Sweden around the year 2000 and it was played at a friends wedding.

This was our Wedding Song & after 28 years of being married to my best friend & the love of my life, I lost my husband suddenly. This song still makes me smile & I can hear him singing it to me in my ear as we danced to this beautiful song. Thank you Van for recording it as only you can!

Yes, back in 1989, I was contemplating on getting married, after I saw this video and heard this song multiple times, I decided to marry my girlfriend. We've been married for almost 32 years. And after a few years I realized that this song was talking about the Lord.

I lost my wife 28 years ago. RIP Judy Ann. 23 years after her death Amanda entered my world. I never thought I could feel that kind of love again. The fullness has returned but the emptiness and loss will never leave. I hope you find your miracle too. I think its O K to cry.

When my wife and I were dating way back when, we had an argument that resulted in a temporary separation. I don't even remember what it was about now. When we talked and fixed whatever was wrong, this song was playing. It became "our song". It was our choice for the first dance at our wedding and it saw regular play in our homes over the years. I lost her 5 1/2 years ago. Whenever I hear this song, my entire life with her replays like a movie. 27 years together and gone in a flash. I think this is the most beautiful song ever written.

This me and my husband John's wedding song. Tuesday May 3rd is Our 29th wedding anniversary! John has been diagnosed with early onset dementia. I am struggling with many physical and mental issues for years now but playing this song brings me back to our wedding day and we are together until God says otherwise. Could not agree less Victoria. This song for me is bland, commercial MOR mediocrity. This is Van Morrison we have here not Engelbert Humperdink. Van Morrison for me is 'Tupelo Honey', And The Healing Has Begun; ;Into The Mystic'' In The Garden', 'Enlightenment' etc.etc. This song is analogous with a great poet like Bob Dylan writing and recording 'Baby Stop Crying'. It's personal taste of course .
